I do agree with LtM on the subject of the non-linear aspect suffering somewhat from it being an overworld we're already familiar with, but it's still pretty splendid to me. All the extra stuff they've added, they did a great job on. The extra caves and mini dungeons are all honestly really well designed so far.
I should probably start slowing down though, considering I'm through 4 of the Lorule dungeons already. I didn't care much for how short the Light World felt, and it would've felt a lot longer if I kind of didn't instinctively know where to go (or if the Power Gloves hadn't just been handed to you). In PH/ST, it always bugged me how Link was stuck with the generic sword for so long, but in this, they give you the Master Sword on a silver platter. Still, other than the Tower of Hera (which maybe I blame on the fact that I watched that video of someone playing through it), all the dungeons are so well designed. I can't even decide on which one I like the most. They're all just that good. And with how the items are handled? Really well done. Ravio's shop system is fantastic and it's made the game what it is. Earning up the rupees for them felt so rewarding, and on top of that, it makes the actual dungeon items themselves more interesting. Mainly because none of them are required, but they're all so darn useful when you get them. You pretty much have to go out of your way to get them, but it's always worth it.
Also, that baseball mini-game: 10/10
