I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm really enjoying Squid Girl. That show just puts a smile on my face every time I watch it. And then you get to that mini-Squid girl episode. That was such a cute and sad episode.

I Liked & watched  Squid girl.

She has my exact personality actually.

Been enjoying the humor in One Punch Man.  Saitama is a beast.

Has anyone watched Michiko & Hatchin? How is it? I'm pretty interested in watching it.

The first episodes are not bad, but i cannot say the same for the rest of the story, but this is only my opinion

Check out Assassination Classroom if you get a chance. Overall, it is a mid paces, dynamic shonen following a group of students who become in charge of the task of killing a man, who has destroyed the moon and will do so to Earth.

Thing is, the students are students of that man, who becomes their KoroSensei. The animation is very vibrant and new school. The humor isnt corny, but rather, adult enough but not to the point of being vulgar. This means they tackle jokes about many things great, like big boobs, ecchi manga; heck they even add references of other anime like Usopp in One Piece.

Some episodes you will see students overcome internal conflict, other episodes offer quality action which involve many people attempt to assassinate KoroSensei

I'm watching Seven Deadly Sins on Netflix. It's a really awesome show. The voice actors I met at Youmacon recommended it to me.

Currently watching 'Hyper Police.' Oldie but goodie. Right before that I was watching 'One Stormy Night.' I know it's stylistically not all that animukawaiidesu, but it was a cartoon movie that came out of Japan, so close enough.

I finished watching Danganronpa: The Animation. For someone like me who played the game, I can say that the anime covers probably about 80% of the game. Some small things it left out from the actual game, but all the important stuff it kept. Overall, the anime was great. A great alternative to understand Danganronpa's story without owning a IfFBWdidntalreadyhaveaVITA.

I'm about to watch No Game No Life. I heard it's really good!

No Game No Life is fantastic, but be warned of gratuitous fanservice. Including from an eleven-year-old. However if you can get past that, there's a lot of good humor, awesome action, and interesting story beneath it all. Season two when? :(

Really? I watched the anime and haven't played the game, but a lot of people I've talked to about it made it out like the anime cut out way too much of the character interaction and important clues.

I liked the anime okay since I like the overall premise, but looking back on it, I found it kind of hard to really develop any deep interest in the characters because of how unrelenting the pacing seemed. There was a trial almost every single episode and there were only 13 episodes, so there wasn't much time left towards getting to know the characters. The mysteries also often didn't give me time or enough clues to have a chance at figuring things out beforehand, so the reveals would often just come out of nowhere rather than leaving me with a feeling of the pieces coming together in a coherent manner.

But like I said, I haven't played the game. It's also been a while since I watched the anime, so I dunno if my complaints are valid even.

Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me. One other thing is that the class trials and investigations were very rushed. In the game, class trials could take roughly 90 minutes to 2 hours to complete, but in the anime, it felt like a lightning round. And that's so true, investigations only took seconds to go through compared to the game. Sometimes, the clues found for each trial were hardly explained at all. And I can see people getting confused overall during the class trial sequences especially to those who did not play the game.

Also yes, sadly there are no character interactions at all in the anime. :( That's where most of the 20% of the missing content boiled down to.

While I'm waiting for more episodes to come out for One Punch Man and Dragon Ball Super (oh look, last two movies are part of the series, so we don't have to come up with anything new), I've been watching an interesting anime called "The Heroic Legend of Arslan."

One of the strangest aspects of the anime, is right when it starts, before the OP.  A Universal logo...  That's right, this is a Comcast Anime.  God help us all.

However, on doing some more research on it, I found out that it has a really neat history behind it, taking aspects of Persian and Iranian lore as part of it's canon.

If you want to read up on it, the wikipedia article explains a bunch.  https://en.wikipedia...egend_of_Arslan

Also, the anime's (2015) manga adaptation was done by Hiromu Arakawa, the same woman that did Full Metal Alchemist.  You'll see it in her characters, but it's really good so far.
