Ok, so nobody can make fun of me, because I only got the game yesterday, so yeah. icon_razz.gif

Chikorita - Lv. 11
Beedrill - Lv. 10
Sentret - Lv. 11
Hoothoot - Lv. 11
Rattata - Lv. 13
Egg - Lv. N/A

Well, all I have to say is that I like having Chikorita. Nice pokemon. Beedrill will most likely be swapped out sooner or later. Sentret is one I never really used before, and it actually did me well against Falkner, with having the ability "Keen Eye" helpful against Sand-Attack! Couldn't play without my Hoothoot though. Honestly one of the weirdest Bird Pokemon, but ranks up there pretty high on my chart. Rattata will probably be swapped out. And well, if you don't know about the egg, well, someone may have some issues. lol I tried to catch me a Jigglypuff on Route 46, just off of Route 29, but I wasn't able to, and wasn't going to waste more time on that. Oh well, I can always catch it later. But yeah, I'm truly enjoying this. It's awesome seeing all these places, and all the music updated to current standards as far as Pokemon goes. But yeah, good stuff.

Edit: Yeah, forgot to add that I never name my Pokemon. I like leaving them just as they are named. icon_shrug.gif Make me feel more organized when I leave the name as is.

I'm also considering training a Gliscor for my sixth slot. With nothing to combat Poison-types, a strong ground doesn't sound bad at all.

Starmie's part Psychic. Does Backspin know Psybeam or something like that?

Staryu/Starmie learn no Psychic moves naturally. icon_unsettled.gif

Odd. Can't you teach it a TM?

The only TM for a Psychic move is Psychic itself, which isn't available until later in the game; I'm thinking that Starmie was a bad choice after all. I'll instead go for Lapras, which will give me a nice fat Ice-type and then go for Mamoswine for a ground type (coincidentally, this will also give me another Ice-type for Lance).

Whilst lying on the floor trying to go to sleep with a man throwing up in the corner, a half naked girl sleeping nearby, and a blanket that was 1 size to small for me, I did it. I beat the Elite Four.

The Aerodactyle and Muk actually proved to the most difficult of all the guys to mess with now that Muk has some move called Gunk Shot that is apparently amazing. Sunflora and Pidgeot were useless, and I'll probably swap them out for something... not sure what yet though.

Lt.Surge is sporting some awesome shades now.

SquekyHeat the Typholison - Lv.50
DavidBowie the Kangskhan - Lv.50
FrstyFrez the Glaceon - Lv.49
Octo****er the Octillery - Lv.48
Sun****era the Sunflora - Lv.42
SCRAW?! the Pigeot - Lv.38

Not sure what to replace the last two with. I want to keep them, but they just can't do anything at this stage. It's a pity, and they will be missed.

Just beat Chuck and heading for Jasmine. Chuck wasn't THAT hard....those other guys and their thunder/ice punch were a pain though.

Tody -> Totodile Lv. 31
Pido -> Pidgeotto Lv. 31
Nate Jr. -> Natu Lv. 12
Mac. Jr. -> Machop Lv. 27
Cat -> Butterfree Lv. 29
Scary -> Haunter Lv. 30

Natu & Poliwag eggs still up for grabs.

Halfway through the conquest of the Radio Tower; just got the Card Key from the basement. I'm letting the DS charge right now while I take a break. I also have my entire party filled out (save for Pichu, whom I can't get till Kanto anyway):
  • Lv. 40 Typhlosion
  • Lv. 36 Pidgeot
  • Lv. 34 Weepinbell
  • Lv. 33 Graveler
  • Lv. 33 Red Gyarados
Good news: Gyarados learned Ice Fang, so that takes care of my need for an Ice-type attack. And it seems to be pretty strong, too, so that'll make things easier on me for Clair and Lance. Just gotta focus on leveling up to, say, Lv. 45 or so, then I should be set; all I would need to focus on afterwards is getting the rest of the party up to a mid-40s level so I stand more than a chance.

Oh, and apparently I own the Safari Zone now. icon_heh.gif

Well, this sucks. Remember how I said that when you play the game on a flashcard, it randomly freezes. Apparently after getting the third badge, it freezes after only three "events", such as walking through doors or opening a menu. So until somebody fixes it, I'm stuck in Goldenrod. icon_frown.gif

Well, at least if I can slowly advance towards National Park, I might be able to enjoy the Pokeathalon. icon_razz.gif

@Russ: Nope. I'm 99.99% of germs sure they took it out. EZ stated a perfectly logical reason as to why, though I still think they should've kept it.

At 2,000 SRs for Lugia. icon_deformed.gif I usually just do other stuff while I do it, sometimes even homework. All I need to do is glance down every so often to see if it's a shiny and reset.

Congrats. Assuming that you get a shiny on the last probable outcome, you're about 1/4 of the way there. Keep it up! icon_razz.gif

I just beat Pryce. He's very easy. Meganium's Energy Ball FTW! I'm pretty close to catching Ho-oh.

I... I... beat Clair the first try. o.o

Gyarados's Ice Fang was extremely helpful, though I tried using the rest of the supporting cast in small roles, such as Leer or Sand-Attack. ... They all fainted. icon_deformed.gif

Gyarados didn't, though, and despite being SmokeScreen'd by Kingdra... I got him with Dragon Rage and won the match. I'm surprised. icon_eek.gif

Well, took care of the Kimono Girls, and guess I'm going after Lugia. I won't bother fighting with it and throwing a bunch of balls at it; I'll save that Dusk Ball method for Ho-Oh. I'll just throw the Master Ball at it and prepare for the Elite Four. Right now, I just caught a Chinchou (while trying to find a Staryu) to use as a Flash, Whirlpool, and Waterfall slave.
  • Lv. 41 Typhlosion
  • Lv. 36 Pidgeot
  • Lv. 36 Weepinbell
  • Lv. 34 Graveler
  • Lv. 42 Gyarados
  • Lv. 20 Chinchou (Slave)
After that, gotta do some mass leveling on my top five for the Elite Four. Typhlosion and Gyarados are almost set; it's the other three that need the most work.

Master Ball on Lugia? DON'T! Seriously, save it for one of the runners, like Raikou, Entei, or Latios! You'll regret wasting it on Lugia.
