I pushed that rock and nothing happened. Is it normal?

Btw, nice quest so far, I completed L1-2 and I have green clothes and the second book of magic. Why is this quest so criminally underrated? The placement of secrets is very clever.

PD: L3-4 done

Same here. I used the bow on the eye and nothing happened.

I'd imagine it has to do with the quest getting fairly major changes in between the different updates. It was much lesser of a quest in the initial version.

Ok, now I understand the ratings xD

I'm in L7 and the quest is starting to feel ridiculous. There are a lot of enemies per room and they have a TON of health. All the rooms are like that. I have the third book, green clothes, upgrade bomb and arrows and I still feel weak. L6 was also tedious. The thing is, it doesn't feel challenging at all, just slow, because cleaning a room full of enemies with a ton of health is a chore. It just doesn't feel right. Ton of shutters everywhere and the dungeon flow feels off. Maybe am I missing something? I feel that it doesn't worth the effort.

I give up, and I am the kind of guy that completed the crazy extra dungeon in Isle of Rebirth. I replayed Second quest by Nintendo the last week and it was a breeze compared to your stuff. If you tone down your enemies in the later levels, maybe I will give it another shot, but for now I pass. Kind of a shame, because I was really enjoying the quest until this point.

Were you using the Lens of Insight? L7 is probably my least favorite dungeon, but it's manageable if you know which weapons work against which enemies.

Yeah, I do six damage with bombs and the book, and the exploration through the dungeon feel off because how slow the battles are. I suppose that can be easier with another upgrade of bombs and arrows, but these are very expensive. Also, enemies respawn, and you have to kill the same enemies over and over to open the same doors >.>

It's not impossible, it's not hard really. Just tedious and slow, that's why I don't understand the purpose of the design. Challenge in quests is accomplished with good designed rooms with hazards, and not just ton of enemies with ridiculous health.

Still i'm working in the quest...

Some tips for the Confussion (L8)? At least it has "La-Mulana nostalgia" xD

Lunaria knows how to discourage players xD

Btw, now I have the best arrows and bombs and enemies still are annoying >.>

I recommend drawing a map as you go, but treat the doors as one-way portals rather than actual doors, if that makes any sense - label each room with a letter or number, and use that system to indicate which "doors" lead where. Going back the way you came doesn't always take you back to the same room as before.

I have the deku stick and I explored everywhere, I have hints of the fairies... but still lost xD I don't know where to use the deku stick.

At least in La-Mulana there aren't annoying enemies that respawn everywhere >.> The "funny thing" is that you can tank them, you can't die with the second armor.

Neat, you going to challenge the bonus dungeon too?

mmm, come to think of it, looking at your inventory screen..., did you explore the second overworld in great detail? You don't seem to have the second warp "whistle" that takes you there. (Though I suppose that one is fairly well hidden in some regards, though those I have watched playing the quest have all found it without issue.)

Anyway, congratulations on beating the quest, always quite impressive to see someone doing it without the magic boomerang. While not strictly required, it's one of those things that I find immensely useful. If you have any more thoughts to share about the quest that would be great, I appreciate any and all feedback~

You need to add a readme with the item descriptions or something like that. I was always insecure about what items were the best to buy first. Too many things to buy, and all of them are very expensive.

I think I found the bonus dungeon in the second overworld (you have to cross a fake wall), but I never found how to open it. Maybe that second whistle is the key... ¿?

No, actually.
Spoiler

In regards to items, yeah, I guess that's understandable. I tried to hide plenty of rupees on the overworld, but a lot of it is sort of intended as dynamic difficulty. The less good you are (the more you die, etc), the more rupees you should in theory end up with. (Since you still manage to kill some stuff). Which means that less skill full players, while taking longer, should have more items and stuff to help them out.

That being said, rupee drops also scale based on enemies, stuff in level 9 drops a lot more rupees than stuff in level 8, etc. The bonus dungeon has the highest amount of rupee drops in the game.
