Level 5, do you have to buy an upgraded arrow to kill the boss or did I miss it in the level. My current arrow doesn't show any damage.

Just figured that out, you would think I was a beginner, I know these things, hello! hehe

I kind of thought that about the candle, by the way I am enjoying your quest, thanks for making it!!!

Yeah I figured out the candle thing instantly(with the book, didn't find the candle yet), has the same behavior but different function

Like to figure this stuff by myself as long as I can.

Your right, 'cause as soon as you ask a question you figure it out and then feel dumb

I always feel dumb when that happens, it's always something so simple.

There is a certain lake where you can go and play music. The waters change and you can swim. But diving gets you nowhere????

And in the eastern mountains a triforce mark that's curious, nothing found

I have 2 instruments and I am running around playing music everywhere, no idea what I am doing, hehe

I am, however the proud owner of a large money bag!

Been playing for a bit and just completed Level 1.

I am really enjoying the quest so far, with Lana's inventory being a unique twist on the quest and the lack of a shield makes the overworld much more challenging to navigate. Moblins go from mild threats that can easily be conquered at any stage of the quest to being major beasts that you need to think carefully before taking on until you get better equipment. The quest makes an effort to stomp the player's old habits, like changing up the places of shops and Fairy Fountains and even attempting to stop the "Kill all but one enemy on each screen" trick on the overworld without resorting to the "Enemies always return" quest rule.

So far, the only flaw in the quest is multiple instances of unfair enemy placement:

Screen 0E (one screen West from the Northeast corner) on the overworld is just no. The enemies on that screen are Peahats and always spawn in a manner where at least one will hit you as you make your way down from that cave and you can't hit them back for that brief moment of invulnerability. There is a reason why that screen had no enemies in Z1.

There are several screens on the overworld where you are restricted to 1 or 2 tile walkways with enemies (usually Moblins and rarely Octorocks) that shoot projectiles. Unless you camp at the screen edges, hoping for a lucky spawn that you can kill off, you are bound to get hit. Replace those enemies with something that doesn't shoot projectiles (eg. Tekitites).

It's not impossible to get that chest but seems unreasonable I got it by going on the left edge (seems illogical as well)

How do I open the cave to Level 4? Do I have to use a different bomb?

EDIT: Nvm I found it. I had to use the boomerang on the branch. Me stoopid.
