Look at all the red bushes.

I have.  I dont get it.  They dont follow any logical pattern to me, nor do they seem to outline anything.  If you go west, you're out.  If you go down, you're still there.  If I'm supposed to be looking at the lower left group to get some sort of cardinal direction, where do you start reading them from?  Makes no sense................

From the picture you posted, on that screen go left, then go up.

Note: When you go left before going up look at the screen you will see that there are 3 possible exits from that screen, all the exits have red bushes on both sides of them except the bottom they are green on both sides. If you go West you do go out, if you go back to the right you go back to the screen that you posted.  And if you go up on that screen your in a place you need to go.

Also I started reading them from going right from the tree trunk.

I've noticed you have to turn toward the red bushes. I am in the Stalfos dungeon. There are enemies in here I do not recognize and am unable to kill. I may be in over my head. I just keep dying trying to figure it out.

OK, I got the book, seems like you must take it 1 floor at a time.... still trying

I think we're talking two different things.................

I know if I go left and then up from here, I end up at the Forest Dungeon, which I've already completed.  Look at this screen:

I'm trying to go north....  If I'm supposed to be looking at the red bushes for the clue as to how to get out of here, then I am completely clueless......  Thats what doesnt make any sense

I guess we are talking about two different things. The red bushes don't have anything to do with getting in there. You want to be on the screen that is two screens up from where your big 'x' is. The one with the 5 green little statues are. Then walk down on the mountain.

Ok, so here is a question (and by the way, thanks for that, it must have been a lot of work going back to get that info) what items are in the underworld, I found the book in the first part, is there an item in each part, and if so the fastest way out would miss some things, no?

I got the book in the Ocean Dungeon before coming to the Underworld so you got to a room I didn't. Where did you get it at? The only thing that I've found is the Mirror Shield (which has helped a lot since I only have blue rags on and a broken down sword   enemies are hard) and 3 whole hearts. You have to go out because there is a whole overworld out there like in the first part of the quest, and I've found I need potions to go on in the dungeons and bait. I have found the Stalfos Dungeon, Wizzrobes Dungeon, Vire Dungeon, Gibdo Dungeon, Goriya Dungeon, Pols Voice Dungeon and of course another Death Mountain one. I've only gotten 3 boss keys from 3 different dungeons, heart reward out of one and the Mirror Shield out of the other. The 3rd boss key I can't get to the door.

I seem to be stop from explorer in the different parts of the overworld by not having the 2nd glove. So I think it's in one of the dungeons behind a boss door maybe???

That is the path I take to get out of that dungeon to that part of the overworld all the time so I can get to the transport spot to go to another part of the overworld to get supplies. Of course I might be doing this all wrong. You might find how to do everything easier.

Hi Vravelo,

I know I'm not Snooze I hope I'll do. Go to where on the ground there is a big 'x' in rocks, stand up by where the rocks cross in the middle to make the 'x" and blow. Got a picture if you need one.

You have to go to the screen above the white area the screen that has the 5 green little statues on it. Walk down on the green mountain then go right. It's a hidden path. There is no maze.

Side Note: Above the screen with the 5 small green statues is the screen with the 'x' in green rocks on the ground.

I'm trying to get through the desert / hill or mountain levels with geelok. I need either the blue mail or the letter so I can get potions. Any hints? to either?

The letter is in the Rock Dungeon. You need the letter to get the blue ring.
