This is a terrific quest!
I gotten through Level 8 except for L6.
Any hints as to where to find the wand?
Well, I can't really explain on how to find the wand. Just go through level 6, and you'll eventually find it.
Also, how did you get through level 7 without the wand?

is bow in level 1 or level 2. I got the arrow in level 2 after already buying it. Was that supposed to be the bow? If not where do I locate the bow at? So far I have raft letter bombs superbombs red candle

The bow is in level 2. Just keep going and you'l find it eventully.

Finished level 5 and now looking for level 6. It said something about finding Knil but I don't know where that is.
I did find a spot in the uppper right corner that's only accessable by the hammer but I need wand fire to go any further.
So I assume I get the wand in level 6.

Got through 7 and 8 without wand, red boomer was very helpful.

After I beat level 6 where do I go? I was on the phone and made a dumb mistake and fast forwarded through the directions of where I am suppose to go.

It's at Shine Shrine.
And for linkismyhero, find the magic boomerang trigger near a river, andbuy the book, then in the top right, use the wand to burn the tree.

level 6 is at the top of the overworld there is a place you go called shine shrine it is near top middle of overworld very top near the middle. Once in there you need to have completed the first 5 levels and have the magic sword and the power glove which is level 2 bracelet. You get that at the knil place in the area where level 5 is after you get the hammer you go to knil place and get the magic sword and power glove there after killing all the enemies. Once you have power glove go to shine shrine and use your magic boomerrang to get the boss key which you should have already done. Then go to left room move dark block and that is level 6.
