It's in the boss gauntlet, which can be found at (I think) the southern end of the Void.

Alright, just a quick update here:

I know I said a long while back that I would be making a DX of this at some point. And then college happened, and I've been tied up with my OTHER game project (which, while going great, isn't in a show-able state yet, or I'd give you good folks a sneak peek). However, I have been lurking, and from what I've heard, 2.5 will come out this year. On top of that, I have thanksgiving break in 2 weeks. I plan to do all of the necessary additions/lengthening/re-balancing/improving/destupidifying and so on and so forth, and then put it out with the release of 2.5.

Just figured I'd throw that out there.

EDIT: Aaaaaand I should have seen this coming. I don't remember the password xD. If I remember correctly, though, the quest password was the prize for beating the game with the best ending. On that note, if anyone happens to have a save from right before the final boss handy, if you could PM me the password if that is in fact the case. I'm playing through it again in case no one does, but I'm not even sure if I did that, it's been a while...

Alrighty, I just sent it to you. I'm looking forward to this; VoidRunner's one of my favorite quests. It's so well designed, especially for being put together in just two weeks. What are you going to add for the DX version? If I can make a suggestion, I'd say work on some of the bosses a little. Make them better then straight-up enemy gauntlets.

Alrighty, thanks. I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do yet, but I do have a few things in mind.

1) Re-balance the difficulty. It gets a bit schizophrenic at times.
2) Flesh out the Void: I want the player to have a reason to go to it, not just to skip over overworld sections.
3) Replace the hastily-thrown-together boss gauntlet with a dungeon. I'm not sure what with yet, though.
4) Do SOMETHING with the forest, fire, and water medallions other than have the player fight a boss. I'm not 100% sure with what to replace them yet, but I'll figure something out.
5)In fact, I'd like to give some story significance to the medallions. Right now, they're kind of just there to be there. Heck, I'd like to give it a real story rather than the excuse plot from the first 3/4 of the game.

Overall, I'd like to increase the length of time required to get 100% or the best ending, without increasing the length of the main plot.

As for boss improvements, if I have time to script something in, by all means I will. That depends on all of what happens though. (Though the True Final Boss WILL be improved regardless)

Anyway, I can't seem to find level 3.

Level 3 is on Pearl Green Island, to the far southwest. You'll need a raft to get there, though, so dig around the overworld for places you haven't been yet. By now, you should have the equipment to get almost everywhere, so it won't be hard to find. (Remember, space is your map)

Lolno I assigned map to M. I have everything I think besides the raft.
