Wait, did the nurse really stay down there? XD What happened when you saved and went back into the world? Where was the Nurse?
Also, I am experimenting with Cheat Engine and copying items. It's easy to do, though it depends on the item. You can copy Copper Bars and red bricks, but not Anvils or Stars. It's weird. You can give yourself infinite health, but it turns off randomly at times.

No, I managed to dig our way out, and she moved into my other house :3Also, I am experimenting with Cheat Engine and copying items. It's easy to do, though it depends on the item. There we go :3 This house obviously isn't finished, but along with housing the nurse, it serves a dual purpose: to get up that ridge right there. As you can see, this house does not have a basement. The basement in my other house (I live with the guide apparently.) has a basement, with a door that leads down to the underworld. The tunnel literally goes on forever xD I have yet to find any skeletons though, and I really want a grappling hook

It's damn near impossible to play to it's full extent on single player. The boss monsters are just way too powerful unless you have some more advanced equipment(above gold).
Pretty much, if you're going to get this, you want to play multiplayer, single player leaves a lot to be desired.
Wait what? I had no issue fighting the Eye even with incomplete silver armor. I used a lot of potions, naturally, and by that point I had already made a phaseblade. Now that I have the full set of molten armor and the Sunfury though I can kill like three Eyes in one night, which gets me quite a few corrupt seeds and lots of demonite. Hydrapheetz and myself killed five Eyes in a night before we ran out of suspicious-looking eyes to summon him with. I bet on a true multiplayer server we could bring that count up to seven or eight.
At this point I would like some more content, though. I've done pretty much everything there is at the moment; my character is completely maxed out. I've soloed the Eye several times and destroyed all the shadow orbs in my small starting world (and three Eaters of Worlds that spawned as a result) ... I also looted the dungeon; Skeletron proved to be a pushover with the Sunfury and the Molten Armor. I think the only things I have left to find are a couple unique items in the underground jungle that haven't dropped; namely the Cobalt Shield, the Cobalt Greaves, and the Blade of Grass.

This game is quite amazing; however, it lacks a lot of endgame content.
I have...
-Acquired a full set of Molten armor and tools.
-Acquired the Star Cannon.
-Acquired most good accessories.
-Killed Skelatron.
-Killed Eye of Cthulhu
-Killed the Eater of Worlds
-Did a dungeon.
Once you have molten gear with 3 regeneration rings (or whatever you wish to use at end-game), everything becomes too easy.
Once you do everything, it's really not worth playing anymore until future updates that come out with content is released.
I've heard there was a "Goblin Army", but have yet to see it in all my many hours of playing.

Its too bad that the update didn't really bring any new breakthrough content. :/
Just a bunch of bug fixes and minor editions.

This game will be AWESOME! once these things are added
I think that there should be an alien invasion where aliens abduct your NPC's

Augh, that would make me go crazy. @ @. I love the NPC-craft portion of the game, and I really don't like having my meticulous work with towns destroyed. Hell, I was digging with Dynamite yesterday, died, (Killed by my own dynamite, of course. I think that stuff kills you way too fast.) and when I respawned in my town, I immediately accidentally fired off a dynamite. I freaked the hell out, hit escape, and exit so it wouldn't blow up in my town.

First, I'd like to let you know something important, for those of you that say "Terraria is more advanced and has more stuff": Minecraft is moddable, and it has a healthy mod community. As it stands, I'm flying through the air around the bedrock layer, burning away bedrock after making it flammable with Single Player Commands, mining away large sections of stone with a mithril pick; all the while, my redstone-powered microwave is cooking plastic balls that I intend to use to construct C4 bombs. This is a far cry from vanilla Minecraft.
There's even mods out there that can give you a female companion ingame that travels with you and can even fight monsters... and mods that make water behave more realistically, mods that add trains and airplanes, weapons like spears, blowguns and muskets... energy weapons, vertical hatches, elevators, night-vision goggles, the list goes on and on. Notch might be slow, but the dedicated modding community adds unofficial content at nightmarish paces. I'm pretty sure some of them have every intention to make a "Terraria Minecraft mod" that'll make the game catch up. Is Terraria moddable?
I'd check this game out, but since it has to be bought, I may be out of luck. (How did I get Minecraft then, I hear you ask? Two words: gift code. Buddy of mine had a spare, so...)

Another problem is that Terraria just came out very recently compared to Minecraft being out for quite a while.

Wow you're cheap! Anyway, I've hardly played it. Lots of uni stuff, but even so it's (initially) too similar to Minecraft for me to give a damn about. I'd rather build a big 3D world than a 2D one.
