Never upload files to Filedropper. They can and will delete them on a whim. The site I use to host my custom sound effects is trustworthy, though. The link to the topic where you can find the links to my custom sound effects is in my signature. Come look though the topic and post comments in it. I made the mistake of having Filedropper host my sound effects a few times, so check out the most recent links to my custom sound effects in my topic.

cool! we don't intend to have any dungeons in this quest, but if you would like to make a tileset out of what we have so far (or what we will have when the next demo gets uploaded to anywhere except filedropper) and whatever creations you come up with, that'd be neat.
I was searching for another post to quote from, but it seems to have been lost to a recent site crash and reload from an archive that didn't include it. the point of the quote I was seeking is that all of my works are free to be ripped from, altered or plain stolen. thus, do what you do. I'd be glad to have this quest turned into a tileset with any additions you like to make, but I think that should wait until the quest is complete, as there are many more tiles to yet be made. show us what you have when you have it, please!

Sorry to tell you that those are pretty bad perspective wise and also this project is pretty dead what with the creator being permabanned for posting porn and all.

Well, now you know why I need someone like Lightwulf to help me with graphics I make for the classic set. If these tiles were in the RPG perspective instead, would they be better? To be honest, I prefer the RPG perspective, and I have methods to make the doors visible in all four directions.

You know, I said they look awful, and in any other set they would, but now that I think about it, those tiles would probably fit trudatman's stick Zelda set perfectly.
On the subject of shading, here, have a random tutorial I googled searched up.
And have another tutorial that includes dithering which can be important when working with limited palettes.

Porn wasn't why he was banned. It was just the last straw.
And anyway why should that mean this project is dead? Maybe tru would be willing to work on it and finish it even without the forums? It's not like we "turned our back on him", that's not what a ban even means. All it is is his way of socializing disagrees with ours; he may get along very well in some other web community, it just happens that here isn't that place.
For all we know he could be more active at AGN from now on and continue to work on this quest on a quieter scale. I'd be disappointed if the ban cancelled this quest, even though I was only mildly interested in it.

If you make a tileset out of the graphics in this quest, you can put them in there. Just be sure to give me credit.
