They do understand it, very well in fact. That is why they are milking it for cash because they know they can.

I assume the odd looking "HD" graphics maybe due to emphasis on the 3D element, so it may look very odd (like the screenshots) with the 3D effect turned off.

Guess it's time for a mod to change the Topic Title and Description icon_razz.gif.
Done. icon_razz.gif

So now it's official. Excellent. I know I initially said I might be averse to playing it through again after having beaten it so many times, but somehow I'm feeling excited about it. icon_eek.gif

So, now that's its confirmed, we have another question. If this sales enough, think they'll remake MM too?

I'm just now realizing they didn't fix that hand thing they had going on in OoT/MM. Ah, well. I'm still really looking forward to it, and there's no saying they won't fix it as the production progresses. icon_razz.gif

Sells enough? This thing will sell 10 million copies alone.

Excellent. This explains why the images had the "3DS" logo at the bottom like that. It fits exactly into the picture of the 3DS on the site.

Now all we need is a demo or an on-site announcement. Not to make it more official... I just want more juicy tidbits.

Screw this, there are so many 64 games that would be more worth porting to the 3DS.

Majora's Mask
StarFox 64
BattleTanx

Just to name a few.

Seriously, there's really no point in playing OoT unless it's on an actual 64. You don't play OoT for fun, you play it for novelty (coming from me, however, this must be taken with a grain of salt since I detest OoT (it's the FFVII of Zelda. LoZ needs its own Dissidea)).

Why would Nintendo try to remake Ocarina of Time it's the best videogame there ever was and it always will be.

WHY DON'T THEY UNDERSTAND THAT!

I am unable to agree with or respect this comment since it uses an opinion to justify an argument (a greatly exaggerated opinion at that, since I doubt you've played EVERY game in existence (especially the ones that haven't been made yet, which your argument includes) and compared it to OoT).

They would not be able to make an MM without an OoT, fans just wouldn't like that.
They are making a Starfox 64 3DS.
BattleTanx was good, but definitely not that good. Really, it was only good for its time.

Also, sure it's better on the N64, but I would never actually play a game simply for the novelty of playing it, maybe just own it though. Playing a game you don't enjoy is, simply put, stupid.

If VG Cats has anything to say about it, there's a lot about modern gaming that's stupid.

Personally, I would enjoy OoT a lot more if people didn't obsess over it. Note the post I quoted before.

I don't care how people obsess over it. Sure, it's a bit ridiculous, but I'm not going to let that change my opinion. I always have and always will play games, OoT included, for fun. I don't care what anyone else thinks of it, or how obsessive people are about it.

If that is the reason you don't like the game, then I think you need to rethink your train of thought icon_razz.gif That's like saying you don't like eggs, simply because so many other people does too. I love eggs. In fact, I think they're the BEST food on this planet. I'm sure a lot of other people agree with me. I have now made it so that you don't like eggs :3

OoT was my first video game ever. It doesn't even have to be Zelda, I'm still going crazy about the fact they're remaking it.

And honestly, I think you're overreacting about it. I don't mean offense, but you should only dislike things if they're bad, not because they're "overrated." I have a friend who does it all the time, and it drives me nuts. Don't bother with what other people think. Focus on making your own opinion on things based on the thing itself, not what other people say or do. icon_confused.gif
