After all, the day of sequels are dying off for games, thanks to downloadable content and additions - something they should more than consider when it comes to the next series.

604 is 4 times that and there's almost definitely going to be about 640 or higher.
If there's 493 right now, I seriously doubt the number of the next generation will go over 600.
GC,you seem to be forgetting things:
-For a WiFi trade, you only request one you've SEEN;You never SEE all in 1 game.
-Some,like me,don't live near/know many Poké-Maniacs,so local trades are almost impossible.
-I doubt the many of us here would randomly ask someone if they had a game, and would trade with us.
-Many don't want to spend a lot of money on/have time for a convention that lasts 3 days, requires cross-country trips, and only gives legendary things there.
I haven't forgotten anything. I understand how the GTS works.
You don't see all of them, that's why you trade with other people or import. You do see a large percentage of them.
I don't go to conventions and trade or ask random people to trade, either. I'm just saying that I could accomplish it by trading with two or three of my friends, importing and using the GTS. I was not suggesting by any means that you go talk to strangers to complete your pokedex.

By saying "It's hardly Pokemon" what do you mean? because all i see is people complaining about the same pseudo 3D in the games and the same formula from over a decade. <_< The developers did say that we would expect a new kind of gameplay and storyline.
I'm like Lemon. I prefer my Pokemon games to be overhead...And I'm not really one of the people complaining about them using the same formula over and over again. The most I said is that they should simply add more side quest like things.

On a side note, am I the only one happy the the Pokemart is now in the same building as the Pokecenter? So much more convenient.
Edit: I just realized that the main character doesn't have a Pokemon following her (I think it's a her, at least) around. Do you think they left the feature out, or they just have it turned off in the picture so that they don't reveal any new Pokemon??

Anyway, Black & White...maybe something like light and darkness? Maybe we're finally gonna see the Light element come into existence?

But, then again, what do I care? I'll never play another Pokémon game again.

I think it will be great to have a choice to have your pokemon follow you or not. If i reckon correctly, the first beta pics of HG/SS did not show a Pokemon follow you and we didn't know it did until way later. Has anyone noticed the new Logos on the main pokemon page? I think the new logos represent something.
I hope they add in the anime voices for pokemon rather than the GB phat voices.

Give me the game. Watch me become Pokemon master. Good. Don't need to save the world.

Well, the old sounds are bad, but the anime voices are worse. They should use the ones from Pokemon Stadium 2. Those sounded great!
I hope for a less ridiculous plot. Platinum handled it ok, but the whole god pokemon thing is still pretty screwy to me. Actually, it seems to me that Gold/Silver were the last games to actually have any legendaries (in game) that I wanted to catch. Groudon and Kryogieiogkg were stupid looking, Rayquaza was looked mechanical, palkia and dialga are also just giant stupid things and Giritina is a centipide... dragon.. thing.

I disagree. I love the save the world part. The Rocket part of HG/SS was fun, but too short. Emerald was great because most of the game was driven by the plot. Platinum handled it well too, but let the plot drag too much at certain points. Emerald was fast-paced throughout.

Bahh it's just so silly though. It bugs the living HELL out of me that you have no voice or character at all and are instead just told by everyone what you are and what you should do. If you stay a kid going around, grabbing badges and such (like red/blue), sure, fine that works.
But the second you become a trainer with 7 badges who is told by someone who has far better pokemon that YOU are the CHOSEN ONE who has to capture the GOD of the CHAOS... you lose me.
Another thing that bothers me is that Pokemon has no moral whatsoever. No meaning. The only thing you are taught by playing pokemon is to love pokemon. Seriously, every trainer in the game pretty much instructs you to love them. It's almost like some weird psychological manipulation thing. Maybe. Probably not. But just a thought

Seriously, I actually did that when I was younger. That means I don't anymore. Or at least, that means I'm not ready to tell you all that I'm actually still doing it. I love my Charizard :3

They always have over 100 new pokemon (except in the case of Gold and Silver) so it's highly unlikely that it will be under 600.

That's wut I said
I do find myself kissing the screen when my Charizard attacks, even when confused though... does that mean I love it?

It's okay, I do that too. Charizard is the best :3
