I,m missing one key near the end of level 4.

could somebody give me a hint as to how i get the red ring? what items i need? cuz i saw it in a cave in the 2nd overworld but couldn't get it b/c it was the wrong section of the cave.

Also, I was looking back at level 1 and i realized that i hadn't been into a room. its the room to the right of the entrance. how do i get into that room? and is it important?

Third, I''m in level 7 now and there are spikes that are blocking a lot of the doors. Is there anyway to get past them and not get hit?

The Red Ring can be reached by bombing open a cave in the Dark World. It's around the lower left section. The room you're referring to in Level 1 is reachable after Level 3, and it only contains money. As for the spikes, yes. Try looking for walk-through walls to end up finding the Magic Boots.

linkismyhero: It's around the top right of the Dark World. Approach the very top right (screen 0F), but when you can swim left, follow that path.

Zorlaf: I'll need a screenshot of your subscreen map to be able to tell where you are and which key you're missing. :/

I can't recall , there's a warp thing on the floor the take you to dark world
pretty much close to level 7 (get boots in there)
Also that warp thing can bring you back to lower levels!!

is the "flute at level 8 for sure????

Yes, it is located in Level 8.

Start at the triforce room and go from there. There might a a walkthrough somewhere along the way

I started the quest over and I'm back at lvl 8...once I get that key from burning the bush what am I to do??? Is there another entrance to level 8?

Did you mean the Magic Sword? I don't recall having a hint for the Master Sword...

I also don't think number of hearts matters, when getting swords... unless it's hardcoded into ZC to not give you swords until a certain number of HCs whether it's a normal pickup or a special item...

If you mean from the compass point... it's the boss room. Use a key in that block. You made sure to check everywhere in that section, didn't you?

If you mean the one with a light-colored floor tile, just step on it.
