I never heard bad words in my house (well, nothing worse than "damn") while growing up. I first heard almost all the bad words I know at school.
Pornography SHOULD be censored though. I don't want to see pictures of naked white girls (or worse, naked guys).

Why would gad want people to "choose" their own path even if it was wrong? Why would he want people to kill, and become "evil" (by his standards...). I have no religion, and I highly doubt I ever will. I respect any religion, but as an athiest, I can see almost all sides of an arguement. Also as an athiest, I find many asspects of many religions incredibly riduculous. Why is it sooooo bad to be gay, but it is okay to kill? By that, I mean you are looked down more upon if you are gay then if you were to kill someone. Many could say that God is "perfect" and he doesn't have to prove anything to an "infereior" (<-- I don't care about spelling) being such as myself. Well, if he wants to gain my beliefe, he will have to stop all wars, end world hunger, and basically dig his creations out of the hole that they have dug themselves into. Why would he want us to destroy ourselves, which I'm sure will happen some day off in the far future. I belive in the "big bang" theory, and I believe in evolution. I also belive in inteligent life on ather planets. Think about this. What about there gods, or religions. Or maybe they live a a good religion free world. In 25XX when interplanetary travel is possible, and we are in contact with other planets, we will have neo-christions tring to spread the word of god. They may be vaporized... There are religions older than christianity, so why are there other religions older? At that time would any being dare speak out against God? Jaivaz is right. All religions started out as cults. Ya know, I think that back in 2000 B.C. some guys sat down and said, "Hey, lets write some book and say it was by a god strangly named God. It will be the standards that everything is judged by. Lets pull stuff out of our asses so people can hate certain groups of people." Then they drank from there golden chalaces, and died!

God is just watching us from above.
I see nothing wrong with being gay or bi (though, I'd rather not be either of them... and sometimes my hormones scare me due to being on acid right now...), and these people should not be treated in such a horrible way. Though, if I recall, it WAS proven that you are born that way or not, and was also said that you can change yourself (but not easily, might I tell you).
I just rather my own sex not hit on me.

And as far as not claiming a religion, you do. Atheism.

Here is the link to the page about sexual orientation.
http://www.apa.org/p...fo/answers.html
They have alot of questions and answers on that page, here is what they said about it being a choice.
No, human beings can not choose to be either gay or straight. Sexual orientation emerges for most people in early adolescence without any prior sexual experience. Although we can choose whether to act on our feelings, psychologists do not consider sexual orientation to be a conscious choice that can be voluntarily changed.
I have also talked to quite a few licensed mental health professionals before, and everyone that I talked to said it wasn't a choice.

Many people today question the belief in God. Countless others have a vague belief with great misconceptions of what God is really like. To some He is only a figment of the imagination. God is a disappointment to some because He doesn't do exactly what they want Him to do. Many want God's blessings but not God. He is someone to call on in emergencies. Like the ancient Greeks, many ascribe to God their own passions and then wonder why He doesn't help them.
Man's religion and his God must be real and living in order to help him. However, a God who could be comprehended by the finite mind would be powerless, being as weak as a man. Although we may not understand Him, this does not mean that He does not exist. There is much evidence that God is alive and active and not just a dream of hopeless man.
1. A Creation Evidences a Creator. In the words of Psalm 19.1-3: "The heavens are telling of the glory of God; and the firmament is declaring the work of His hands." Creation demands intelligence, design and acting force. These are things that are associated with personality, and that personality is God. And I don't believe any of that sience crap like the big bang theory. You don't explode things to create things.
2. The Universal Concept of God Proves His Existence. All nations and tribes have a religious instinct and a universal belief in a divine being. Cicero once said: "There is no nation so barbarous, no race so savage, as not to be firmly persuaded of the being of a God."
3. Man's Ability to Conceive of God Presupposes the Existence of God. If there is no God, how could such an idea have originated in the human mind? The fact that men everywhere have conceived of a God shows that there is a reality behind the conception.
4. The Bible is Proof That There Is a God. No one else could have given the world a book that has had so great an influence on the world. All it teaches and reveals show there is a God. Romans 1.20 aptly states: "Since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power, and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse."
5. The Assumptions of the Unbeliever Prove the Existence of God. If one doesn't believe in God, he must assume marvelous results without definite cause. He must also assume the eternity of matter. Finally, he must assume that he knows and sees all or else that which he does not know or see may be God. If you can prove this, I will call you a liar, because people have tried to find these answers for millenias, and someone or something isn't going to have the answer forever.
I'm not saying that I know it, because I don't. You know why? I believe in God and that his Son Jesus died for our sins. To those that would spit in his face, I hope you get what you deserve unless you change your ways and accept Christ into your heart.
"Truly, it is a foolish man who has said there is no God. "(Psalm 14.1.) As men lose faith in Divinity they lose faith in humanity! Where God is outlawed, there men are subjugated. Men without God become selfish, irresponsible, immoral and cruel. All evidence points to God. By faith we accept Him in our lives today as One who guides us toward Eternal Life. "In Him we live, and move, and exist." (Acts 17.28.) Surely we should take the advice of Jesus: "Have faith in God." (Mark 11.22.)
I rest my case on this issue. Furthur on, if I get flamed for what I say and if you say this is BS, go ahead, as I won't bother reading, because the people that will I guarentee will have to flame or say something stupid that I will pay no heed to.If you want to get my attention, try a PM, unless you're on my block list, which only three people are, which are the only three enemies I have on PureZC.
EDIT: We've already won. The reason we don't go on is because it ain't worth it. When you die, see for yourself. That's all I can say.
No swear words...all from the bible and the heart and the friends that have helped me to achieve this knowledge.

But there has been proof of that theory, yet the only 'proof' of any gods are the myths of olden times and 'faith'.

This can be explained by the fact that we, humans, because of our 'spiritual' and physical evolution are afraid of what lies beyond death, of what will await us as we leave this world and 'fade to black'. Also, I believe I need to use an example for this.. Africa, for example, did indeed have religions based on a god.. Only they worshipped more than one, they had a system similar to Paganism. The Native Americans had a belief in a 'Great Spirit' and many other things. (Such as, Coyote being the devil.) But it all began with the 'primative' humans who lived like a normal animal, but evolved (or mutated for the worse, in my opinion.) and gained a fear of life, death, and what lies beyond. And, many barbarous things have been done in the name of your great lord. And if god truly exists, why does he kill 230,000 (and more!) just because he wants to? Simple.. There is no god and Nature (or, Satan) simply does NOT CARE. Nature is uncaring, unforgiving, and always will be for she is all.

I cannot understand why people can believe in such a BOOK! In fact, naming it a book is such a disgrace to all great pieces of literature out there. Fun fact: None of the founding fathers of America believed in a god. All the people fighting for women's equal rights, same thing. Some did, some did not, but how could they when their lord preached of 'putting women in their place'? (The bible itself said women could not speak in a church!)

If one doesn't believe in god, he is wise. Many of this world's greatest men and women were non-believers! (Many even lived the Satanic Lifestyle!)

I am no more your enemy than the lion who hunts the deer is..For it is his nature, his hunger which drives him to hunt. It is my hunger for truth which leads me down dark paths to find the truth of all. And the truth is, it's horrible. Sometimes, I envy the ability to live in such complete ignorance and bliss...

I really can't say anything else. Jaivaz summed it up pretty well.

As I recall mentioning in this topic before (or some other), the bible didn't descend from the heavens, so I wouldn't believe anything in it. ;[

That theoory, I find stupid. There is only one God, and I dont' give a crap who said it. It could've been President Bush, I still wouldn't care.

I'm not afraid of death. In fact, I can't wait to die when my time comes, so I can stand beside God in his kingdom...and if you can last that long in the real world. And like I said before, I don't give a crap waht anyone else thinks about if they say taht there is no God. And God loves us that he would be so powerful yet not even harm a fly. He's so gentle that He wouldn't even go into Hell's dirty pit and slap Satan in the face. And yes, there is also a Satan, because I've slapped his face plenty of times (and if you take that littereally, I trully feel sorry for your clumsiness). It's prayer that keeps Satan scarred in his boots from coming up here and taking us on. Also, I don't care about Nature and what he/she/it does. For all I know, it doesn't exist.
I've said it above, it's fear of death and beyond.
I second that.

Just as I can't understand why people like you would assume that because of the age of a GREAT AND ALMIGHT book , and calling it a disgrace, I hope you get what you deserve. And Like I said before, I don't care what anyone says if you can't say it yourself. And the bible, if I recall, never said anything about anybody being against women and the church. I'm assuming you added that in yourself.
If one doesn't believe in god, he is wise. Many of this world's greatest men and women were non-believers! (Many even lived the Satanic Lifestyle!)
Wise, but so Special Ed that the guys in Special Ed are Albert Einsteins. And for those people, they may be great, but to God's eyes, without Him, they are nothing, just as those are without God.
I am no more your enemy than the lion who hunts the deer is..For it is his nature, his hunger which drives him to hunt. No duh. I'm not special ed like some people. Oh, believe me, I never said that you were my enemy, now did I? You only assumed that. You never actually tried to PM me, I bet, and go ahead and say you do, because I won't bother listening. And you search for the truth, when it's right there in the bible, and you'd rather spend time and money trying to search for the truth. And the only ignorance and bliss I see are the fools that believe taht there is no God. For that, the price they'll pay if they don't change their ways and beliefs will come back and haunt them for all eternity in the pits of Hell.
You just don't know when to give up. But I can go on all day.

Everyone has their own beliefs, and I believe they should be respected.
