You mean 2.5b679? That would be very funny, because...
1. 2.10 and lower version quests shouldn't be played on higher than 2.10.2
2. MMDWRDC only works well on the version it was made (look at the version in the download section)

Well, I can't run 1.92 because I have Windows Vista.

I'm on Level 6. I turned the power off and got the Rush Marine, but how do I get into B2? I can't seem to find a dive warp.

I know I'm on the right screen because I checked the map, but I tried diving on each water combo and it didn't warp!

Either the dive warp is missing, or I'm still looking in the wrong place.

Somebody help? Or, if you're playing on build 679 and you have the same problem, tell me...

Hmm... you are playing with a new ZC build? Uh oh... Have you experienced any nasty problems or bugs playing with it? If not, then that's great news.

Anyhoo, to help you: When power is off, go to the big pool room on F1 with the sing saying "Warning! Swimming is not allowed here!". Dive in that pool to get to B2 so you can open a shutter down there and then return to F1. After that you have to find another dive warp from the southwestern corner of F1. You can only get there via F2.

Umm, I think I have experienced a problem. The dive warp doesn't seem to be working properly. As I said, I tried diving on every combo in that room, and no dive warp.

Maybe it's a bug, dive warps not working in old quests? I'll try and confirm this once I get far enough on Hero of Dreams.

Uh oh, sounds like there's a nasty bug in the build you are using to play MMDWR DC... icon_unsettled.gif

well old official versions of ZC should work fine in the newest alpha versions of ZC othrwise there will never be a stable v2.5

I would like to start a new game of MMDWR and I was thinking of using ZC 2.10 to play but I've read that it is not a good version. So ZC 1.92 it is then eh?

Yes. ZC 1.92 b183 is the ONLY version you should use to play MMDWR DC! How many times do I have to repeat that, geez... >_<

you should be recommending the latest alpha build at shattered earth so that bugs in its backwards compatibility can be fixed.

well quests made in...

1.90
1.92b183
1.92b184
2.10

...should all work flawlessly in 2.5. however this can only be acheived by people playing said quests in the latest @ http://www.shardstor...eamhosters.com/

i can see your point of view tho, you wish to ensure everyone gets to play the game as you intended it to be played however with your aid and other quest designers working/worked on quests in the versions listed above we can improve 2.5's backwards compatibility till it is flawless with these versions. (compatibility is one of 2.5's goals and is aimed at only officially released public builds prior to the developers making testing builds public)

Ah, now I get it.
Well, I would never recommend anyone to play MMDWR with any other version of ZC than 1.92 b183.

But of course it would be helpful for ZC if someone took the risk and played MMDWR with the newest builds and reported all the bugs and backwards compatibility issues. I plan to play MMDWR with a new build during one of these days and see what happens...

Playing it on build 726 and it works perfectly. I'm on level 9 now.
BTW, Pete, those disappearing floor tiles on the 2nd floor of Level 7 were driving me crazy. The only way I could cross them was to "straddle" two tiles and hope I didn't fall when they both disappeared. Never ever ever ever ever EVER pull a trick like that in another quest, EVER. Everyone will hate you for it, trust me.

Hey, I'm not exactly proud of that disappearing floor tile part. >_< It's one of the things I'd love to fix if there ever will be a ZC 2.5... but it is good to hear that MMDWR DC plays perfectly on the new builds! icon_smile.gif

Quest seems to run great on my ZC 2.5 758. Sure it crashes from time to time, but it's not a big deal, really.

I'm a little stuck... I beat LV 1 and I've been more or less wandering around, unsure of where to go. I got the saber, the blue shadow blade, E-tanks, & 16 bombs. I'd really like to get the Mega Buster or some new item that would help me out. But, I'm not entirely sure where LV 2 is or where I should be going. I've done a lot of exploring though, and even picked up 6 life pieces. Anyway, if anyone could help, that'd be nice.
