And here I was thinking that Wonder Trading would be an incredibly useful thing in the future, now it's just utterly broken.

So, ive been avoiding this thread. Not completely sure why.

I have a question.

Is Pokemon X & Y, worth to buy? Would you guys recommend it?

Is Pokemon X & Y the one ive been looking for?

Yes, it is completely worth it. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes RPG games.

I have finished Pokemon Sapphire and Played alittle bit of Pokemon Black. But that's it. :/

I didnt like Pokemon Black, it felt just the way Sapphire did, i want something new and fresh.

No. It's a fun game, but it follows the formula used by basically every game (except sorta Black and White) to a tee. If you want something new and fresh, look elsewhere.

As for the bad egg thing... that's pretty bad. Almost taxi-tier bad. For a game this bug, it sure has a lot of crippling bugs. It's almost like they rushed it out without testing it or something. But no, they'd never do that.

I honestly think it was tested quite a bit...just these were some easy to overlook bugs, tbh.

@Russ The larger a game is, the more room bugs have to hide.  It's pretty easy to miss a bug here and there.  As someone who makes games, I'm sure you've found bugs in your code once in a while.

Still, there is no excuse for overlooking this bug. Oversights like this and the Lumiose save glitch can lock off entire parts of the game if you don't want to risk your save or pokemon. It does not reflect well on Gamefreak at all, no matter how easy or hard they are to overlook. Remember the Skyward Sword Goron oversight?

A shame that Wonder Trade is being ruined like this. I kinda enjoyed sending Eevees out to people and seeing what I'd get back. Hopefully something can be done to stop this, but for now I guess the best option is to just outright not use it. Thanks for the heads up!

Hey. So. Is there already a topic somewhere that we can exchange friend safari codes? If so, can't find it and I apologize... But I didn't look THAT hard. Anyway, please add me so we can do safari?

Ebeth | 0903-2791-4104 | I don't know what my pokemon are, but they are probably awesome.

Edit: PS, I haven't logged on here in like a year, things are so different!

You could always use the GTS. I've been dumping my extras for Weedles and Caterpies and releasing those instead of the Eevees. Some of the Eevees have relatively decent IVs, just not the 6x 31IVs I've been looking for. I hope that the people who get the Eevees can use them. Though if they're searching for Eevees and trading for them on the GTS, they must be useful in some way to them, right?

Let me know if you could use a better Eevee to breed IVs with too. Assuming you've got what you need already, but I've got a few here and there that could be helpful for anyone attempting. I just need to get Anticipation and some Egg moves passed for the next batch.

@Orithan: Thing is though, as thepsynergist said, the Bad Eggs are something to stop hackers, so they were intentionally put in the code. Just sending them to someone who did no hacking whatsoever via Wonder Trade was probably overlooked. You'd assume if the game can create a Bad Egg with the pokemon that it'd be able to prevent you from Wonder Trading it though. Let's hope Patch 1.2 comes out

You mean the one that was fixed?

Even if they fix the bug, there are still going to be hackers out there. I doubt it's going to make GameFreak look bad, especially for something that wasn't even meant to be exploited in the first place.

Anybody want a Magic Bounce Natu? I caught a MB Xatu from the Friend safari and started breeding it. So far I have three eggs, all of which I've confirmed to have MB Natu in them, at the moment.

I've been breeding Roselias for the past 2 hours, trying to get a Modest one...it's so tedious. ;~;

Have you tried the Everstone Trick? If you attach it to one of the parents, the babies will all be that one nature.

Adamant is better.

Uh no, it isn't.

Neither my Sunflora, nor my Roserade are Modest, so that won't work.(I'm mainly breeding these two for the breeding moves I can get from them, these moves are Leaf Storm, Giga Drain, and Grass Whistle.)
