I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm really enjoying Squid Girl. That show just puts a smile on my face every time I watch it. And then you get to that mini-Squid girl episode. That was such a cute and sad episode.

That was an episode I did not expect from a goofy, off-the-wall series like this. Which is why it was so brilliant. And sad. Also Mini-Ika is too adorable.

Just finished season 1 of Watamote. For a slice of life anime, it was pretty great.

Plus I don't think I've ever shipped a ship quite as much as I do Gon x Killua.

I finished watching Hunter x Hunter. In case my avatar didn't give it away, I absolutely loved it. While I had some issues with topics I feel they didn't spend enough time on, and a certain aspect of the ending upset me, overall, it was amazing. It broke me down into uncontrollable sobbing at a certain point to, which is generally enough for a show to gain the Russ Seal of Approval. Basically it was great.

Spoiler
So overall I liked it, but... yeah, I do have some complaints about the plot threads that were just sort of left there.

I completed Prison School, it was the best anime I have ever watched. I am looking forward to season 2. Sure, it is ecchi but it is more of an adult humor primarily, think like South Park kind of funny. I really can't say anything bad about this anime! The characters have unique personalities. There are only a small bit of characters to really followed compared to many animes, allowing focus into story depth.
I am also taking on Shimoneta! A world where the concept of dirt jokes doesnt exist: This funny echhi is exactly as the title says. Imagine terrorists, but about dirt jokes.
And finally, I am very interested in this anime I just found out about called Overlord. From what I understand, a man who refused to log out during an DMMO-RPG became infused with the game and was skeletonized, into a bad ass overlord with the strongest magic abilities.

Did you finish the 4th Chimera Ant Saga-arc and the Last 5th short arc after that also far? Ohs, .. i see.'
The 4th Arc was the most extensive of the Saga's i feel just about.
The Ant King was like 'Perfect Cell - DBZ' in my eyes, but should have fought Gon i feel in an epic final fight.
This one is one of the most terrifying anime's i have seen so far. It does have a DBZ type feeling to some of the events and battles that take place within it as with all the death scenes of certain events.
I have 'favorite battles and then .. not so favorite', however i enjoyed it, the anime none the less.'

Well, one thing to note is I think most of your complaints come from the fact that it's an incomplete story. I feel a good number of your complaints will be addressed in time in the manga. The main problem is that the manga is taking a painfully long amount of time to complete with it going on hiatuses all the time. (To be fair, it's an old man writing it, and he's been hospitalized at times. He also has an attitude of only wanting to work on things when he feels passionate about it.)
So, yeah. I think all that stuff will be addressed in time, but who knows how much time that is. ![]()
