It's interesting to see a monochrome MZM shot in ZC. So, how will Samus get past that big barrier thing?

Anyway, I wanted to show off this screen from The Lost Kingdom DX - I wanted to try out my skills with the castle tiles on the screen of the entrance to Level 7 (Wizard's Guild), note that I'm not anywhere near this point yet in the actual quest. First, let's compare the two screens:

Why don't you like, make some real Zelda shots for once? And I have no idea on what final product you are talking about and you provide no more information. icon_unsettled.gif

Edit: The only thing I can see that you could do better is the wall->water transition. It kinda looks like the wall is just magically floating over the water...

The engine this site is devoted to in fact is called Zelda Classic, but it's still a game engine which isn't limited to Zelda fangames only. It's Furion's descision alone wether he wants to make "real Zelda shots for once" or be a little more, let's say, original.
Also, I don't mean to rent a mod here, and I don't even really care, but your tone reads sort of unfriendly / demanding. Doesn't make the best impression on me and I bet I'm not alone on that one. icon_shrug.gif

@Orion: It's a pretty good shot, could use some more ground detail, but my main problem is that the trees are to close to the castle. move 'em down a bit. It would look a lot nicer icon_smile.gif

Also, I agree with sheik, people can make what ever the heck they want. It's up to them, not you, That just made you seem like an ass.

Looks nice, but I have two complaints. First, the bridge. It was meant to be a bridge suspended high up, like between two mountain peaks. It makes no sense there. If you stepped on it, it would sink down into the water. So I'd suggest using a different bridge. Second, the pattern of crosses on the castle wall doesn't look too great. There's just too many of them. I'd probably knock out every other one.

Have I every mentioned that you are the god of pseudo-classic tilesets? That's beyond amazing. Any chance you'd ever release it as a tileset?

PM me if you want the tileset, or any of my other works. Most are incomplete, but if there is a demand for, say this tileset, I wouldn't mind finishing it this summer.

The reason why Furion's work is less Zelda based then it use to be, is because he's just too damn good to keep working with Zelda related things. I, personally, like his none-Zelda things. It keeps it interesting.

The left side of the town looks a bit too empty, though Maybe add a bit of rubble?

it's very nice, a bit boring it terms of wall layout, but the quality of the graphics save it big time.
In short terms, It's very good!

Though, I really don't like how dark it is. I mean, a brighter palette might fix that problem, but it's not a big deal. I can see so that's good icon_smile.gif

P.S. Is that blood?
