It's probably just not showing. But I think that's the best shot I've seen so far. Beautiful!

Mine too!
I love the expression on his face too icon_razz.gif
Also, notice his sword is gone again, like in the original!
Looks like the fisherman still won't allow swords! XD

At least he actually looks like a human icon_razz.gif

That's debatable, humans have necks. Plus, Link is officially a Hylian, not a human. (Hylian = Human with pointy ears)

What I'm trying to say is that his neck is far too short, it looks like he's constantly shrugging. I never said that humans were a race, we are a species. That being said, Hylian is a race according to the official games, not a nationality. It's a race which is a sub-category to a currently undefined species.

In any case, this is getting off topic. I just hate to leave myself unexplained.

Though I'm a little skeptic about Miyamoto's talk about new things everywhere... Not sure what he meant.

It's a fishing pond, but where?! I think this might be a new place.

You weren't going too far off; I thought it was a relevant addition. Just don't make sure we don't fully divert the purpose of the thread. icon_razz.gif

I'm pretty sure that that's the Lake Hylia fishing pond...

There is a fishing pond in the original. I mean, unless they put in another one. But, I don't think they would need another one. It looks very different from the original, but that could just be the highly enhanced graphic.

No, it's the same as the original.
It's near the back, I would know icon_razz.gif
Plus, if they did add another one, other things would need to be changed.

I guess it just looks different, I thought it was different because Kokiri Forest is nearly identical, and this is very different looking. Who knows, this shot is newer so maybe Kokiri was updated too?

I recognize that rock in the fishing pond.

Boss Rush mode guys!

Oh, and super guide-type help videos, but no one cares about those, right?

I'm happy for Boss Rush Mode, soooo happy. I always wished that TP had it. But in-game help videos? Really? That's just dumbing it down.

The evil Ganondorf is intent on gaining mastery both over the land of Hyrule and time itself and he is led by his ambition to overthrow the current Royal Family of Htrule. It is up to Link to stop him in his tracks as you guide him on a magical journey through time.
I'll be honest: This sounds more like a description for a different Zelda game entirely. Ganondorf didn't want to control time, just Hyrule and the Triforce. In fact, I'm pretty sure he didn't know about Link's time-travel abilities; no one else seemed to. And "magical journey through time"? You jump between two time periods. Which was a great device but I wouldn't justify that sort of description, which makes it sound so much more broad, for just two time periods.

Self-induced nitpick period over, back to the new features. icon_deformed.gif

Boss Rush mode sounds epic, even though the majority of the bosses weren't all that incredibly challenging. Though Barinade and Phantom Ganon, two of my favorites, I would have liked to rechallenge, and now I get that opportunity, whoo. But I agree with Ornlu on the tip videos: That's just plain idiotic. I know one feature I won't be using at all.

I hope they're talking about more then just the few tougher enemy variations found in MQ when they say it will be harder then the original game. I also hope there will be difficulty level selection for the Boss Rush mode, something like a survivor mode where you have 4 hearts of health and nothing drops recovery hearts etc. so you must survive without taking serious damage. I hope they buff the bosses in Master Quest as they really need a buff xD
