Hi! FerenzRocks (my old friend and master) - congratulations on your new computer (I need one too)
About v2.10 - very long ago I played this quest on v2.10 and just finished playing it with same player v2.10 (my favorite)
As stated by .. ShadowTiger.. The link is the same for all update, he just change the file every time !
I think my friend ... schoochie662..have some advise if playing with windows 7 - you should pm him!
ME gona be happy when you come back on tracks..so I know where to ask advise

A couple quick questions:

So the link in the first post is to the latest, presumably most bug-free version, right?

I should be getting a new computer in the next few days, so I might finally be back in the game. I need to play this on 1.92b183? Has anyone tried it on 2.10, the LI build or RC1? My new computer will have Windows 7, will I be able to use 183?

I'm ready to finally try and tame this behemoth after all these years of reading about it, and a couple attempts that had to be scrapped due to bugs. I haven't had a ZC-equipped machine in almost two months and I can't get back to playing soon enough.

Hell, you can actually try playing it on the newest Revision (RC1) , and I can actually fix bugs faster on that version than I could on 1.92 build 187. Seriously. Try playing it on Release Candidate 1. I'll bet it'll work just fine.

I did indeed pick up my new machine today, it is indeed equipped with Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit), and I am indeed running ZC 2.50 RC1, as, at least so far, it's the only version I can get to run properly on fullscreen.

I just started the quest, and free time is at a premium these days, so I'll be playing through it very slowly. So far everything works fine, but I am only through the Deku Tree, like 1% into it, if that.

the boss key at train station.. need to open way up till you see two statues on the floor
place a bomb on the middle and go down... (think hook shot is there though!

I am unable to find that location.
I already have the hookshot. I did pick up a key I overlooked, and I also saw something about an invisible door the stalfos always forget. The only screen I can't seem to pass is the room in B1 where the entire room is one pit with a door to the north and a door with a small ledge to the south. You enter from the south to supposedly go north. So far it looks like a real pit to me.
I ultimately abandoned the level and moved on to the ice tower. Got that item, abandoned the level and moved on to Enigma. Picked up some more keys, picked up the relic, picked up the boss key, but no rod or book!
And I STILL can't quite figure out how to get the lens.
Sooo I abandon Enigma and go to the devouring forest, skip past the giant monster and reach a couple of null screens that show the artwork of the massive beast I remember from playing Chrono Trigger. That's been about it. Still couldn't figure out the clues to the nightmare buster. Keep working my way to the excavation ruins to find... a superbomb... big deal. I'm just about punch drunk from this quest as you can see since I keep dabbing into various parts of the worlds all over the place.

I have completed the vines level, but I cannot find my way through the Mirror Cave. Can anyone give me a clue how to complete this level so I can move on? There is a room on the 1st floor that I enter by way of a bombed wall. I quickly fall through the black floor to the cave beginning. Thx for any help.

I can't understand where you meant, if you bring a screenshot I might help you.

Arrange the reflector blocks so that you can stand on the tiles near the door to the north and use the wand to activate the orb to open the door.

Hi Shadow.... I tried several version of this new release RC!
Everything is ok,, till I get the flippers,,
jumping in the water with flippers is an end,, can't get out of the water and can't get on any of those water warps
must F5.. to continue --- just don't work on the water

Nana that room should have a solid floor until the trigger is activated in the manner described by Gendof. If that trigger has been set off and the floor is a black pit when you enter you are probably screwed. I don't know why it would be that way, but this quest will from time to time behave bizarrely. If you have the latest update and the state of the room's trigger is incorrect and you saved you may have to start anew.

I used the zc console program to move past that room. I won the level but I can't get to the white platform now. Do I need to use the console here too?

Nana, if you're using the console program to zip thru screens that may be the reason you have weird things happening. If you miss triggers or warp at the wrong time, etc. quests can behave strangely. I have nothing against you using the cheats, just be careful when using the walk through walls feature.

Shadow Tiger what's the status of eliminating bugs. Are you still working on it? If so are you still using 183/4? Or have you moved to 2.10 or RC1/2?

I only ask because there are still several problems that I know of. I had time today so I started from the beginning and played thru the Twilight Gardens. There are several problems up to Twilight Gardens and once there Vines and the mirror cave have problems. And Link can't approach the white platform despite having both medallions. I've been playing in 183/4. Should I report these? Or have you moved to another version? Let me know. I’m leaving for some summer water fun soon but I’ll be happy to play/test when possible.

There is a boss type creature in the elf''s cave. How do you defeat it? I could use the cheat code but i don't want to. Help please and thx.

Also, now that 2.5 Revision 2 (RC2) has the ladder working again, I think it's fairly safe to start using it. I can give it a few shots to see how it works.

is working well so far,,,,,, can you give any idea?? on this quest I never knew, which level is first or second?
I suppose first is the one on the dreams....! now...
which one is level 2 or 3 or 4.?? is there is any logical order?? or doesn't matter?
