Either way I agree about moving the log just a few tiles away from the center. I think moving them left would balance the screen.

Yeah, it's usually better to find a palette that compliments using a black transparent layer over it. It's a good screen, though.
great screen! my issue with shots with dark palettes is when the characters are brightly colored, making them look like they are in different light than the rest of the scene.
Actually, I used layers 5 & 6 in this minimap for the rain and clouds on the next screens

That's not the palette I used for my field though.

This is.
Edit - Or is it? Yours looks slightly different.

Preview of Lydian Grasslands!
(Cut me some slack, too lazy to get shots in ZC
)
SpoilerThe palette was based by Supindahood's Idontknowitsname palette! (The one Jared used for his fields in RotP).
Really nice screens! Looks lovely for a field ![]()

This is what happens when you have too much time on your hands: You make random screens.

Looks pretty nice. I like the way the grass looks. Though if this is supposed to be a mountain screen, maybe add in some rocks for more variety.

I would really love to buy those stoofs. Pretty nice screens, though the trees on the right shot look a bit strange (with the red and all that). Pretty good anyways!

The red trees could be a unintentional joke. ![]()
