Shane told me  how I could make my SOTW entry better, here you go:

Looks better honestly, though those pole extensions still look a bit weird, but still a pretty good improvement.

Building hype:

(Credits to Migokalle (Robin) for the Title Screen submitted to the Database! :) )

OH MA GAWD IT'S HYPE. But seriously, that looks really cool man! With the title screen, "Hylian Legacy" looks kinda hard to read. The left screen, my god that's really beautiful. Keep up the good work man!

To be honest, the shot looks OK but the way it goes from full sunlight to pitch-black darkness is really unnatural. I think it would make more sense if the screen had a nighttime palette and there was a torch standing in the backyard. It would explain the sudden circle (octagon?) of darkness surrounding the backyard and give the player more context as to what's going on here.

So I couldn't get windowless house walls without them looking odd. However...

Gets better every time you update it! :D Dude, stop it seriously, you'll give me a heart attack. The variety of windows helps the shot itself, and I love the new castle town floor! :D I don't think an improvement is needed. Excellent and terrific work!

Looks absolutely amazing! :D I think you've got the screen down; I really see no way to improve that at all since it's so great already. :)

much improved, Shane.  very nice.  I suggest a different tile for the floor under the guy with the white beard and the floor under the wagon.

a) define "different tile". I'm sorely confused.

and b) I removed the wagon right after the shot, so there's that.

I meant a different ground texture for those two areas.

My SotW submission. (Dat trolling yo)

Spoiler

Actually, I wanted to see just how flexible Firebird can be for a castle town, since it's based off of the GB set. Pretty nice! (Sorry Shane, your shot is awesome I had to copy it XD.)

The shot itself is fake, and it isn't my submission ;)

Two areas? I'm getting really confused.

Either way, I'm kinda happy with the variety here... even if no one agrees. I want to keep the number of tiles at a minimal for each area.
