Thanks for that, though even with Allegro42 from the earliest version I could find, it's still not opening. I'll try something early on from Shardstorm. Maybe that could open it. I was able to play the quest in build 776, but nothing more recent, and it crashes often in ZQuest when it gets to the Dmaps or the SFX data. No earlier build is available from Shardstorm. The build up there, 211 beta 14, complain about needing Allegro 42 when it's there within the folder. Most odd. Eh, it can wait.

Still working on DoY. Here's a quick test build, which sends us straight to the final area with everything. The Golem/Wizzrobe pair battle gets skipped for some bizarre reason. Haven't tested beyond that.

Well, all of the bosses went smoothly enough, so good job on that. 

 

But there are a couple bugs I want to bring to your attention.

I've actually been diligently putting in a few more fixes here and there. I think I actually might have a working course through the entire thing! I had to put a keese in the last boss-recreation fight entrance room to ensure the secrets didn't automatically trigger for god-only-knows-why, (Yes, I did have a Trigger enemy in there, and it only does anything when there's a non-Trigger enemy in there too. Noooo idea why.) but it works! It all works properly.

Do please redownload the file from the link above. Progress shouldn't be much of a hassle. Also, enjoy the L5 Tester Sword. It does 999 damage or something. A wise old black woman once said "ain't nobody got time for that," and so mote it be, and so on and such forth.


Before I forget to mention, don't worry about the titles in the Dmaps above the minimap. They're just for analytical logistics and debugging purposes.


I know I still have a few bugs to fix. The Gleeoks' necks, specifically, is definitely one. Ever look on the tiles page for the Gleeok? They don't match what's in the wiki about them, as far as I can tell. It's going to be trial and error for that.

I also quietly wish we could keep the Megaman thing I put in for the testers. I love it so much. XD


EDIT: Also just realized I put an E_Switch over a West button on that screenshot. Fixed.

where is that hook locate ??? sabotage dragon, can't remember almost notinh --- the  one c-daw posted, is working on 2.50 with no problem :unsure:

I assume you're referring to Sabotage Dragoon? Likely best to keep discussion to its thread. The Twine Bird is in the Sandsheer Mountain dungeon. Push a block on F-2 to open a door that leads you to the chest.

I was playing this quest, and at the very begining, there is a portal that took me to the "Corrupt Deku Tree", and I also got extremely powerful.  Someone please explain to me what the heck is going on!  :omg:

SD's crashing in latest trying to load the warp rings, at least on my system. There's a maximum of 9, but it's trying to read 10272. Not sure where that's coming from.

Ah yes, the old "Ten Thousand Warp Rings" technique.  An old favorite.

 

No, I have no idea where this is coming from.  I don't think I used any warp rings at all in SD.

gee man!! I know how to get the book every time I play this, but  is a little hard to lead you there :confused:

when you enter the room whit water on the floor, don't go right, go up instead there you need the hook C'uz you'll need to make to the room at the "left" ,,, but your problem is with the coloring blocks on the floor , "wrong step and back to the door"" before going up you can place a bomb on the lower wall ,, this will show how to walk the colors block after you hook up to the left room, also on the upper room you'll need to lit a lamp on the floor.. little trick in here  need to hook right before flames go off.... let me know,, I may post some pics... :unsure:
