EV trained my Jolteon, just have to get his moveset down.

 

I screwed up the nature, but I don't really care (would have rather had timid).

 

In order of HP first; Hasty: 266/146/140/308/216/365

 

Needless to say, this things pretty fast.

Hah, I actually just finished EV training my Jolteon today as well, which means half my team is EV trained. (My Jolteon, Espeon, and Umbreon are all good to go in that regard. I'm still early on though, so moves are another story. >_>) Still need to EV train my Vaporeon, Flareon and to-be Sylveon. Then I can proceed with the game again! XD

 

(I swear I've put more time into Pokemon Amie, playing with my Eevees than I have playing the main game. ._. That tile puzzle game just has me going back to it again and again. XD)

Decided my full eevee team was a terrible idea, so I'm only keeping a few to maintain type advantages and board setups.

 

Aegislash is a must, as I soon see it hitting OU, if not Uber on how its ability works.  Being able to effectively become Deoxys-A & D mid battle is a real game changer.  And King's Shield is just insane.  Contact with the foe causes Attack stat to sharply lower?  Not to mention Aegislash's movepool is very spread out. 

 

I've been following Smogon with the hopes that their X/Y speculation will move out of the forums and on to their main page.  But, Aegislash is up there with one of the best contenders in the OU bracket.

 

That and Technician Breloom.  If anyone has Breloom/Shroomish on their friend safari, PM me ASAP.  I'll trade you a kanto starter of your choice if I get a Tech. Shroomish/Breloom.

I want to train the other starters too, but I'm afraid I'll miss out on breeding moves.

..But EV training goes so fast now, and breeding has a new boost, so I'll risk it.

So basically out of boredom I've been breeding Modest Natured Eevees in an attempt to get a Shiny one without any luck so far. But if anyone would like one, let me know. I'll eventually Wonder Trade them out if not and release any garbage I get in return. There's already a couple hundred I believe. For most of them I have no idea what their IVs are due to them being Level 1 still.

 

On another note, I'm looking for someone with a Friend Safari that contains Eevees as I'd like to try to get a Modest Espeon with it's Hidden Ability and perfect IVs someday. The perfect IV part probably won't be hard in the long run as the Hatching O-Power + Flame Body really speeds things up with eggs and Destiny Knot helps pass the IVs along, just I lack good parents and don't have a single Eevee with the hidden ability to begin with.

 

If I do succeed in the Espeon someday, I'll probably continue to breed it to attempt a Shiny and pass out whatever Eevees I get while trying.

I managed to get a technician breloom on GTS, and I bred about 19 of them getting the right nature (adamant).  Spent all day trying to get them to learn Bullet Seed, and I succeeded thanks to a friend having Sunkern in his friend safari, of which I managed to get a shiny version.

 

So, I'd definitely trade a hidden ability Shroomish with Bullet Seed for one of your modest Eevee's (need a better espeon haha.)

It seems someone was able to hack into the game already and uncovered a few more things.

Three event pokemon by the names of Hoopa, Diancie and Volcanion were found apparently. There also seems to be Mega Latias and Mega Latios. The Megas look absolutely TERRIBLE though. Jeez, what did they do to them. And why is Latias the same color as Latios? Fail.

 

If you want to see pictures, Serebii has them up as I'm posting this. Unsure if they'll stay up.

 

Other than that I was finally able to get a few Eevees with perfect IVs by breeding, just don't have any with the Hidden Ability still..

I found a shiny Octillery and Gorebyss only 15 minutes apart thanks to fish chaining. :3

Caught a Shiny Relicanth and Shiny Horsea via Chain Fishing. It's a bit easier than normal chaining, but it seems a bit more slow and boring honestly. Though I've yet to actually regular chain in Y yet.

 

I may start breeding some Friend Safari exclusive pokemon to pass out soon. Gotten a good chunk of them via GTS by offering Joltiks for them. I'd also like to get a foreign Eevee with the perfect IVs so I could hatch decent Eevees along with the better chance of a Shiny, but doubt I'll find anyone who'll have one.

May as well say that I'm still tossing around Vulpix eggs, so no need to use those. :3

 

Also, nice, two shiny pokemon. I'm trying to find a good patch of grass that contains a Roselia.

Caught a Ralts with Trace and evolved it into Kirlia, for use in my search for pokemon with their hidden abilities in the Friend Code Safari. So far, no luck. The only Pokemon I have from there with their hidden abilities from there so far are Florete and Spritze and those were from my inital run-through of Goryia's safari before I got Kirlia.

43 Togepi eggs...

 

That's how many it took for me to get one with a Timid nature.  At least my Nasty Plot/Baton Pass Togekiss is finally born.  =3

 

Also got a Sucker Punch Bisharp.

 

Team so far consists of: Breloom, Bisharp, Togekiss, Espeon.  I might use Hidden Ability Venusaur with Hidden Power Fire, since my friend has Ivysaurs in his friend safari.  Not sure though.

I have finished Pokemon Sapphire and Played alittle bit of Pokemon Black. But that's it. :/

I didnt like Pokemon Black, it felt just the way Sapphire did, i want something new and fresh.

 

Is Pokemon X & Y the one ive been looking for?

This is entirely the fault of hackers.  People are using WiFi to spoof Wonder Trade to get hacked Pokemon into their game, locally. They inject hacked Pokemon into their game, and when they mess up the byte order or use values that don't work, it creates a bad egg.  It's been like this for several generations.

 

It started with PokeSav/PokeGen and people would just make the best possible Pokemon without the tediousness of breeding for perfect IV's and bother to EV train.  You are given an Action Replay code that you then enter into your game via Action Replay.  If you messed up the code, it would produce a bad egg in your game.

 

However, with the new Wonder Trade, people are able to send these bad eggs to people.  Again, its all the fault of people trying to hack the game to get the best Pokemon.

 

I've lived on this planet long enough to realize that if there's an opportunity for someone to be an asshole, someone will try.  Call me a cynic, but that just comes from life experience.

 

Here's hoping that this doesn't become a common occurrence in the future, but I wouldn't be surprised, honestly...
