So those puns don't originally appear in the subbed version? Oh Bang Zoom, why must you torture me? lol
There were very few in the subbed version I watched. Some other translator might've slipped in some in their subtitles, but the version I watched had pretty straightforward dialogue. Not boring, dull dialogue, but not pun-laden. ![]()

I've started watching through Cowboy Bebop again.
What was intended to just be one episode turned into me binge watching the whole thing over again.
See you space cowboy. Classic

As soon as a finish Railgun, which one should I watch next? Index II or Railgun S?

I finished A Certain Scientific Railgun. Such an awesome anime!
Love the character development. Really the only flaw was that there wasn't enough Toma!
On to Index season 2. Though I did hear that's there a lot of harem in this season.

Noragami was quite enjoyable! Yeah it got quite intense towards the end there! Too bad there was only the one season of it though :/

Concerning Railgun and Index, I watched Railgun first. After having seen both, (Though I am likely only halfway through Index.) I feel like it wouldn't matter which order you watch them in. There are cameos through out.

I'm adding K-ON! to my collection. I heard this was supposed to be a hilarious comedy. I've seen the English voice cast cosplay as their characters.

Noragami complete. Amazing first season overall. I hope they hurry up with the second season! ![]()
Now I'm watching Princess Jellyfish. A pretty weird series so far. A lot of people say that this is an under-appreciated show.

Finished both Hellsing series, the TV anime and the Ultimate OVA series. Verdict? Both have their merits. Generally fans of one work despise the other, but I find myself liking both.
Hellsing:
+Good character development and fleshing out of the Hellsing organization by focusing more on its military.
+Seras has good character development in the beginning as opposed to Ultimate.
+Tons of good action with Alucard, remains a hell of a lot of fun from beginning to end.
+You grow to like the characters, even among the absence of truly engaging story.
+The tone of the show is more consistent and takes itself seriously, with more natural comic relief.
+Great music.
+One of the best dubs out there.
+What it actually did adapt from the manga, it adapted far better in my opinion.
-As just mentioned, story is kind of meh, especially after episode seven, where they invent new story to fill in the gap left by the at-the-time unfinished manga.
-Animation is kind of lacking at times.
-Story, if you were even paying attention, is often lackluster.
-Seras' dub actress sounded more than a bit too cutesy and timid for her character.
Ultimate:
+Superb animation upgrade, puts the original to shame.
+The story that the anime replaced is far better, if you were even paying attention.
+Alexander Anderson and Iscariot were portrayed far more awesomely.
+Nazi vampires.
+More awesome battles and badass moments.
+Seras becomes awesome, and her actor, who's the same from the anime, improves dramatically in her performance.
+Better dramatic elements.
-The tone of the show takes itself less seriously with some instances of goofy and deformed animation for humor. It's dumb and takes me out of the experience. The last couple of episodes seemingly ditch this at last, and it's to the show's benefit, but the ending of the final episode brings it back and ruins what would have otherwise been really good scenes.
-While the show's story is improved, it's still not interesting enough for me to care most of the time, especially when at times they spend far too long on the story and not the action, which I came for.
-Alucard is all-but-missing from episodes five through seven. Seeing as I watch this show for him, this is unacceptable.
-There's far less character development in the beginning, especially for Seras.
-Some plot elements seem left unexplained, or just strange.
So basically, I'd rewatch both in a heartbeat, though if I had the skills, I'd totally cobble together my own cut of the series that combines the anime's more fleshed-out (and in my opinion better-adapted) first episodes with the rest of Ultimate to make the "perfect" edition. I mean it'd still have problems but that'd almost be the best way to watch the series for me.
Would I recommend this series? If you want solid, cohesive plot, no. If you want some awesome action with awesome characters, why aren't you watching this? It's a lot of fun for that reason, either series, though I would definitely watch the anime before Ultimate; Ultimate can easily render the anime unworthy in your eyes, so you would likely get more enjoyment out of it if you watched it first. Either way, if you just want to have fun, this is the series for you.

Watching the old Hunter x Hunter with my sister. She has the cutest girl crush on Killua. I'm just really glad she got into anime, and, so far, didn't become one of those annoying preppy girls that is only obsessed with phones and boy-bands.

Well, we finished the new one a while ago, and I wanted to show her what the old one was like.
