I feel about that....like....people should take at least one second and comment on screens without any review. Critique Thread, not look'n leave.

Anyway, I'd say that is a 6.5/10 shot. The water and cabin compliment each other on the dark contrast, but the cabin is heavy on the outline.

Looks good. The waterfall seems off, like it shouldn't be pouring out like it does.. Also, I notice a lot of the stuff on the left leaves the player only 1 tile of walking space. I would have assumed that it wasn't accessible if it weren't for Link being there. I'd suggest opening the are up slightly.

Other than this, however, I think it looks pretty durn good. :3

The rain-tiles where that create white splashes are ment to be used on water tiles only.
Other than that, the palette is quite interesting, as is the unusal choice of tiles. It has some character, which I like.
I'll honestly admit that I don't like what you did with the many different ground types, though. The sand kind of fits in an interesting fashion, but the detailed grass and the dirt seem to be a little too much. The detailed grass might be okay if used sparingly, but the dirt sort of doesn't work at all IMO.

Lynker, those screens are absolutely delicious! Just simply beautiful and nearly flawless!
But the purple trees, I could go without them. Also, I like the many ground transitions. They make the shots look much more detailed.
But don't get carried away with them okay? icon_wink.gif

Over all, I think you are getting to good my boy icon_smile.gif

Ohh, water only. Gotcha!
Well, i need the dirt because they're the only tile that works with the (poison) water edges. And detailed grass? That's tall grass, which I think fits nicely in a swampy area.

I disagree with Keichii here about the purple trees they maintain a perfect balance to the screen and look poisoned witch would make sense seeing they next to a purple mud/water swamp. Again you did another jaw-dropping awesome job.
