would you please (try again to) explain why the coffins are on blank floor instead of using layers/transparencies to have them sitting on the otherwise complete floor?  also, I suggest editing out the pink corners of the lantern tiles so they look like they are on the same floor, too.  the concept is great, but the screen screams for some consistency in flooring.

This, pretty much. I'm trying to go for the official GBZ aesthetics (four colours per quarter of a tile), it's what gives GB its charm for me. I'll remove the planks beside the open coffin since the visual inconsistencies are a little extreme here I'll admit. However, the small, minor visual inconsistencies such as the background of the coffin, torches and other tiles such as pots, bushes, etc. will remain. It's never been a problem in other quests nor in the official GBZ games. I probably learned how vain this was to show off a screen with visual inconsistencies, so next time I'll be sure to find a shot that lacks them. :)

 

So take your feedback somewhat considered. :P

I actually think that the pieces of wood beside the open coffins look fine.  I say keep them.  As always, I love your work.  :thumbsup:

That looks great! Except this is kind of a tower, so it'll be weird having earth in between the floors. :lol:

 

But seriously, I think it gave me an idea on how to resolve this however. ;)

Testing a Zol Boss. He hops around tossing gels and spawning zols, and splits into two halves that do the same. the halves split into zols, and from there into gels.

I should credit VEL for the original tiles of the enlarged Zol.

"Tossing Gels and spawning Zols." Care to elaborate? I understand spawning Zols, but what do you mean by "tossing Gels"? Are they projectiles that turn into Gels upon hitting something, or does it just spawn both?
