I only have 6 hours to go before I can get my hands on this game and the wait is so boring... But it will be so worth it! ![]()

Why not watch a TS stream to pass the time? http://www.twitch.tv....multitwitch.tv

I would love to if my internet wasn't so handicapped, well that's what I get for living in the middle of nowhere.

Yes, it'll be on eShop, but I don't think there'll be a midnight release for the physical copy. At least, not at GameStop. I imagine it's because they don't want to mix the Xbox One crowds as well and get stupidly busy, which is understandable I guess. I'll just have to pick it up in the morning, which is no big deal.
Actually, I called my local GameStop (Columbus, Ohio location) and asked them, and they are releasing both at midnight, to my surprise.
I wish my check would clear before midnight, instead of at midnight, or later. I guess I have to wait till tomorrow. I think they are anticipating it to sell like crazy, cause he said they have 15 extra copies, and that "I should be fine if I get there a little after midnight". Worse case scenario, and it is sold out everywhere around here, I might just get the digital copy, but I really hate the idea of not actually owning a hard copy of the game.
On a side note, I am seriously contemplating using a sick tomorrow, lol.

Meh, to my frickin bad luck, my local retail store doesn't have a release date yet!
Which means they don't even have the game in stock yet... Darn it! Well, good thing that there is Youtube! ![]()

While I appreciate your support, it really doesn't have much to do with this thread, and advertising it is what my stream thread is for. ![]()
Anyway, even if GameStop near me was releasing it at midnight, I'm going to just wait until the morning anyway. Don't really want to deal with the Xbox One crowd, lol.

Midnight releases may be exciting, but in my opinion anything worth waiting months for is waiting another day or two before going out to get it. Why not wait until you've got the whole day to yourself to enjoy your new game?

I'm getting my copy tomorrow morning. It's on Saturday so I got enough time to enjoy it before school starts again.
I don't think midnight launches are local here. Plus, I wouldn't want to ruin my sleeping pattern. But either way, in my opinion ALBW is going to be the most worthwhile game for the 3DS this year. It just looks that promising.

For me, it just has to be better than Fire Emblem Awakening, which is a tall order. That game's easily become one of my favorite games of all time, and it's the best 3DS game out there in my opinion. Not that I'm saying A Link Between Worlds can't do it, it's just going to be tough. ![]()

Is it the open world experience we'd all hope for? Or have they lied to us D=?

I got the game today and wow, that's some awesome stuff that i see there!
Looks like they used a bird statue save system kinda like Skyward Sword and Majoras Mask.
