ROFL, just beat Portal, definitely the creepiest, most twisted game i've ever played.
Now I'm playing Half-Life: Blue Shift.

I'm playing Distorted Travesty right now, as well. That game's incredibly hard, though. You mind if I bug you about finding some of the hidden stuff and vice-versa? I'd really appreciate some help with parts of the game, this is my second attempt at beating it.

Sure I don't mind, I'll try my best to help you if I can icon_smile.gif
Right now I just reached "west Side jungle" and I'm playing on the wimp mode for now... I have to say this game is one of the strangest games I've ever run into icon_lol.gif. Really getting a kick out of it...But still On the easy setting the game is still kinda hard...I've already died 60+ times...

And Kurt91 Do you know of anyway to get more Money (Internetz) I've been having a hard time finding some <.<
If I could find some I might not die a much...

Bought my first Nintendogs game for the 3DS. It's alright... Cute, but boring after a while.

Supposedly, if you can build a large enough kill-chain, enemies will start dropping more money as it builds up. I've never seen it make enough of a difference to matter.

If you can keep a hold of your items and not use them, you'll get additional money instead of a copy of the item that you can't hold more of. You'll even get more money than the cost of the item. You should be able to hit a button on the map screen to see which levels you've already emptied of treasure chests, so that might help out some.

Money grind

And I also do not know how to activate this switch... any idea on how Kurt?
Stuck

And also I found me a working copy of Breath of Fire 4!! I've been looking every where for one and found one at a yard sale for $8.00
Whoop whoop! I'm so freaking happy! icon_smile.gif I'm going to start playing it tonight.

That switch was accidentally made the wrong color. Fire activates it, not Earth. Give it a whack with Blast Off from above.

Also, a few rooms later you're going to find an extra door that requires chaining a bunch of air-dashes together to reach. There's an easier way to do it. Use Earth Shift underneath it, Blast Off-boosted jump for height, and then alternate Mental Insurrection and air-dashes against the platform the door is on. The timing is tricky, but you'll gain altitude and climb up onto the platform.

Once inside, use air-dashes to get to the hidden items. There's a second exit to the room, so if you haven't seen the exit door, there's more goodies waiting for you to grab them.

I just got Mario Kart Wii from the library. Never played it before, so I did multiplayer against my sister and her boyfriend. After going through all the initial courses, we felt skilled enough to do worldwide online play. My sister declined and went to bed, so it was just me and her boyfriend playing. Our first race was as thus...

4 racers (including me and Robert)
GBA Bowser's Castle

Both opponents were from Japan...
Oh crap...

I know it's not right to assume that just because somebody's Japanese, they'll automatically kick ass at video games, but this did not do anything to help prove that point. I mean, I've played in 8 player DS races many times before. I have never seen such coordinated teamwork in my life. One of the Japanese racers would actually compete in the race, and the other one attacked us FIERCELY with items. He even went backwards through the course so that the game's "worst racer gets best items" policy went in his favor, just so he could hit us with better stuff! In our defense, we did do fairly well in spite of this, and the guy who was actually racing us didn't get more than a half-lap advantage on the final lap.

Honestly, it was horrible. We were both laughing hysterically at the television, and could barely keep it together long enough to race after that. That was the only time that situation came up, though. After that, we were in 10 and 12 person races, so both of the Japanese guys had to play fair at that point. However, our second and third races were still flooded with Japanese people. (I guess that's what we get for playing at 1:00 AM!) We were laughing at how the first two Japanese guys must have called all their friends, saying something like "There's a couple of poor American suckers online! Get on Mario Kart and help us whip 'em!"

After that, we started getting a more diverse crowd, so we were finally able to wipe the tears of laughter from our eyes and focus on the actual races. We didn't do too bad, really. This was my first real time playing a game online, and I can see what the big appeal is. It's going to be a sad day in about a week when we have to give the game back. Here's hoping we can find a copy to buy really soon.

o.O

I'm currently running through Super Smash Bros. Melee right now. There's just too many trophies and awards, but I have most of them already. Most recent acomplishments are:

- Over 250 trophies (260 I beleive)
- Encountered Celebi
- 5000 KO's
- Event match 51 with no deaths/falls (Never knew they gave you an award for that).

Great, now I have to find Mario Kart Wii. icon_sweat.gif

Do be careful as there ARE cheaters who play online (Can summon infinite blue shells, warp to the finish etc.). I mean don't be too taken aback when encountering such :/

Also Mario Kart Wii lags when playing either 2 player online or 3 or more players locally (same console). It lags both visibly and input wise (Your controls get slightly sluggish). You're best off playing 2 player offline for the best experience, unfortunately :/

0.o
I have never experienced such lag in MKWii at all. I mean, I've played plenty of local (same-console) games with 3 or 4 players and I never got it, even on an old, Homebrew Wii. I have also played 2-player WiFi games without such lag, that's if nobody else had lag.

It's minor but definitely there. You won't notice the drop in frame rate if your TV is using 100HZ, 200HZ, 400HZ etc. technology.

The increased input lag is small enough that you probably won't be able to detect easily if you don't play single player/2 player often and then try 3+ or 2 player online.

Well, I've still been playing Distorted Travesty. I've managed to collect every single treasure chest, skill point, and power-up available before entering "The Hideout". I've got to make sure I snag as much as I possibly can before I get to "Black Rock Fortress" and start encountering the Shrouds. They'll make collecting anything a real pain in the ass soon enough, let alone just surviving.

I've also been messing with Disgaea DS on and off. I can't wait until I get to where grinding isn't a real chore anymore. I only need 50 more Statisticians before I have a weapon with the max of 300, then I can start spamming the Cave of Ordeals much easier.
