Well at least i wont be without a Cd that comes with The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
I called my gamestop to Make sure that i did not have the 69.99 one in reserve.
And the gamestop employee Told me that they was not going to get the Wiimote that Comes with the SE Skyward Sword.
So he told me I'll be getting the SE Skyward Sword with the cd And fancy box art for $49.99 but only thing is It don't come
with the Golden Wiimote.
But heck i'll still get the fancy Box art and CD So I'm happy
Sounds like GameStop is planning on 'removing' the golden Wiimotes from the pack and selling them separately. I mean, it wouldn't be the first time they'd do something along those lines, and I can
guarantee you it won't be the last.
Just the other day they removed vouchers for the Onlive copy of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which was supposed to be sold with
all PC-copies of said game. Why? Well, they do have a pretty good reasoning behind doing so, seeing as Onlive is a direct competitor of theirs, but still, they've done stuff like this in the past simply so that they can squeeze a few extra bucks out of their customers, no, their sex-slaves cause they're f***ing them all the time.
I mean, anyone who buys stuff at GameStop should realize the only way to make them
stop robbing their customers at every given opportunity is to
vote with your wallet. Buy your game someplace else, etc.
That said, it is quite possible that GameStop simply won't have the golden Wiimote in the first place, but I find that
highly unusual and not to mention rather strange considering it's not a store-exclusive, but a part of the actual Special Edition...
