Well, you'll enjoy this game, as I am =). I'm just suprised at how I have to actually level grind this time 'round; I've always been able to zoom through Pokemon games, but this one is priving to be a challenge . Let's see what's ahead shall we? And how the hell did you get to Clair so fast Ebola!? That's madness!

I got to Lugia yesterday. Wasn't really that hard. Clair was just Pain without Love, though.

Legendaries break the game anyway. Now you actually have to try hard to beat something! I enjoy battles where there's no advantage more so, as it's actually a challenge as opposed to rock/paper/scissors.


Also, the camera angle thing is a fun little code someone figured out, and I just realized they use it multiple times during the game for various special areas and/or cutscenes. Very cool.

Okay, so that depends on several factors: Whether or not you have SoulSilver, and whether or not Pryce still gives you Icy Wind when you beat him. If he does, and you have SoulSilver, do this method. Or just catch a Swinub and grind it up, since Ice-types are strong against Dragons.

Pryce give out Hail now, which is sort of useless. Most of the TM's are pretty good (U-Turn, Roost, Focus Punch, etc.) but they didn't exactly give you much for Clair this time around. And as a player of HeartGold, no Lugia until the end of Kanto. Besides; that would ruin my unused Legendary box.

Actually, even with Lugia, the battle was still quite close. Blame it on the fact I only raise Lugia, like, one or two levels, though, I guess.

You're not the only one. Stupid Gengar. He tried his best to prevent the Smile Away Reformatory School's Warden and his guards and their hounds from dogpiling Morty Williams, but he failed in the end.

Jolteon vs Espeon. I'm now thinking about how to evolve my Eevee. It's down to those 2. Umbreon is a tank (I already have Crobat and Meganium for that). Flareon sucks Arcanine FTW! Vaporeon is already in use for Platnium. And I won't even bother using the Sinnoh eons.

Pretty Weird. After Evolving at Level 22, my Golbat instantly evolved into Crobat reaching Level 23. I guess that Goldenrod City spa did the trick.

Flareon is highly underrated. Used one in Diamond and it was absolutely perfect.

I tried to use Umbreon in my Fire Red version, but had to dump it at the Elite Four because it never learns any decent attacks. So yeah... it can take some damage, but as far as killing things go, all I could do was confuse and toxic.

I'm more partial to Jolteon myself, as I think it's the best one, and I've always had a good time with it. Right now I'd highly recommend Glaceon though. Mine is still 5 levels ahead of the rest of my party because it kicks so much ass.

Make sure you breed an eevee with yawn though. Regardless of which evolution you choose, yawn is a great move to have on them.

I'd take Umbreon over Crobat OR Meganium. But that's because I don't like using Pokemon that, frankly, look stupid.

In fact....I'd say out of Generation II, Umbreon was the best-looking Dark Pokemon. It was rather cool- here you have this happy, healthy Eevee, and then, with the right amount of abuse, neglect, and trauma, it turns into an utter BADASS.
