The overworld doesn't impress me. Nor does the apparent drop in frames during combat. The graphics look very Xbox, PS2, Gamecube-ish for my liking.
It's interesting how they took some inspiration of other games of similar genres such as collecting firewood from cutting trees. Collecting various armor and weapon types, and just adapting an open world environment in general. It's just unfortunate everything about those features feel cheap compared to the games they are trying to take inspiration from, and I doubt anything significant will come using those features.
So far, this has been just as disappointing for me as I anticipated.
Lets hope dungeon design saves this game. But considering it seems like they are chasing games like Skyrim for dungeon design, I'm beginning to lose all hope.
