Hi, i'm playing this quest and i'm having a good fun so far. I finished Level 2 just now. I loved the idea of the level but the secrets should be permanent to not annoy the players. I lost the count of the many times I had to push the blocks in the same rooms X) Also, the blocks that need the silver gauntlets should be colored different, that was unnecessarily confusing (or at least put some tip)

Edit: Level 3 was really cool! A big step up in quality, great design and flow.

Glad you're enjoying it so far.

The secrets in level 2 aren't permanent because it is intentionally designed as a NES dungeon. They didn't have perma-secrets, and NES style dungeons in ZC can't without a bit of work. I do agree about the colored block, though. In the end, that's a design choice, and left up to the fishman.

Level 3 is the first "real" dungeon, designed around the new dungeon style that's become popular. It's also my personal favorite because it's a lot of fun and not very confusing.

Good luck on Level 4, this is the first dungeon that most people get lost in. ^_^;

Can you describe how you did it? If it's not that big of a deal (like you were swimming and changed screens) then we're probably not going to fix it for a while. No point in putting out a while new version for a bug so minor. If it can be replicated without the flippers, then it's a major bug and we'll get right on it.

I used the ladder from the left screen without the flippers. It happened in every screen with water, that have one tile of water between the extreme of the screen and the land. You can cross that water tile with the ladder and see the screens going from the left to the right.

Btw, I finished Level 4. It wasn't as fun as Level 3 but it was pretty exciting to figure out =) I'm really surprised with this quest, it's way better than I was expecting at the start, the dungeons have a lot of freedom and innovative themes.

Well, we took a lot of inspiration from the quests we've played and enjoyed. Most of it was from Flying Fish, of course.

We'll look into removing all of the spots you can ladder to the next screen. If nothing else, we could just disable the ladder on those screen, to prevent people from actually seeing the glitch in action.

Make sure you're using the latest version of the quest. Some of those glitches look familiar and we thought we had fixed.

As for the maze, there was a VERY big double hint when you entered the top screen. There were bombs available for you.

I downloaded the quest on 22 December, the build is from 30 October.

Mmmm... I suspected about that, and I used the spin attack to check the walls, but no luck. Tomorrow I will look another time.

It's a double hint. Not just that something has to be blown up, but that something specific has to be blown up.

Note: I Have been looking at the forums and working on the small bugs and stupid tile errors.  I also will be looking at the minigames since no one really like them and also will be looking at the starting area with the whole you cant acquire bombs from the shop sometimes.

I will be posting a updated version for the game soon.

All your inputs are greatly appreciated and taken into consideration, since this is my first game I ever worked on and have a long way to go learning this program and all it can do.

The pots without a base can be pushed just like in the room where you got the silver gauntlets

Thank you very much, that's something really not common in zelda games since we all use to break pots lol ...
