You know what would be useful? xD A gym radar. Overall, I like the story of this game. The gyms are nice, but pretty unrealistic. Not a bad thing.

Maybe a gym radar would be nice
.
In any case, I've been done with the game since Friday. Haven't played it since then because of Zelda Classic work. It's also the first Pokémon game I've beaten in only 1 week, so yay for me! ![]()
My team:
- Xerneas: Lv. 70
- Aurorus: Lv. 71
- Venusaur: Lv. 70
- Talonflame: Lv. 70
- Lapras: Lv. 69
- Delphox: Lv. 72
I'm really happy about this team, honestly. Plus, the Pokémon League was a joke if you've used the exp share throughout most of the game, lol. Now I need to catch all of the legendaries! ![]()

Just caught Mewtwo. And dang was it hard! It knows recover, so keeping it at low HP can be a pain sometimes...

I've only got my second badge at the moment, though this is because I've begun EV training my team proper. (Super training makes it actually fun. X3)
I'm planning something similar to my Black 2 team. That is, all eeveelutions. More specifically, Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Espeon, Umbreon and Sylveon. I've got a Vaporeon and Flareon at this point, but still need to evolve the others. My to-be Espeon and to-be Umbreon are all EV trained the way I want. Hopefully I'll be back on the road of getting my badges soon. XD

Well, I caught Mewtwo as well, though it took only two Ultra Balls; I managed to get lucky and paralyze him and reduce him to a tiny sliver of health. I guess that's it for the post game content... there really isn't a lot of it, though it's still not the least amount in the series; as much as I love Gen I, there's maybe one thing to do (ironically, it's catch Mewtwo) then you're done. So, I'll be honest, I actually did enjoy the game. It was by no means perfect and it has its issues, like a few interface issues that make things slightly more tedious than they should be, and the forced railroading was a bit annoying, and Lumiose... yeah, it wasn't the most well-designed place, especially with the annoying camera and you get lost in it way too damn easily. ... also it's a fairly easy game and the gym leaders are easier than some of the trainers within the gyms.
But it really does feel fresh in other ways, mostly due to the 3D battle system, the bigger freedom of movement, and the extra layer of life to the world. At its core, it really is just the same damn game we've been playing for ages, but at least there was just enough cosmetic distraction and other bits of streamlining to make it more enjoyable than more recent entries. Some of the new Pokemon aren't bad either; I've become absolutely enamored with Pancham and Floette for instance. I wish it was a bit more open, but the caves got a bit more interesting later on at least, even if they're not quite as complex as I would've liked. But it definitely surprised and satisfied me in the story department, so it was a winner there, and... I may have to admit that Team Flare is my favorite Team now.
So, definitely worth the purchase, especially with the little things like Pokemon-Amie and Super Training added in, though those aren't as little as you might think. Pretty good game, glad I picked it up.

* Delphox (Sp Atk focused)
* Blastoise (Defense focused)

* Hawlucha (My sweeper)
* Florges (Sp. Def focused)
* Tyrantrum (Atk focused)
I think my team is pretty well balanced.

I felt Lumiose City was way bigger than it needed to be. Almost everything feels as if they're just there to be there...the cafe's are pretty useless.

Nice team! Though I don't you knew: The game's main legendaries, like Yveltal, are caught with any pokeball, no matter what. This means everyone should catch it on their first try. I wasted my masterball on it... Don't do what I didI just critical captured Yveltal.

Just beat the game myself. The Champion's final Pokemon was the only thing I didn't OHKO in the entire E4. That was the most pathetically easy Pokemon game I've ever played. It was fun but... honestly doesn't feel like it really added anything on to Gen 5 other than a 3D engine, and even then, that has framerate issues. As for the story...
So all in all... eh. Not one of my favorites. In fact, it's kinda near the bottom. Did a lot of cool stuff, but honestly, I feel like the majority of that cool stuff could also have been found just as easily in any old rom hack. It really didn't feel all that different, graphics aside. ![]()

Thought I'd post my 3DS FC so that more Poke's will come out in the Friend Safari. I'll add whoever sends me a request. Just do it via PM, so we don't flood this topic. xP

I'm trying to level my new team to the 40's before I take on the 7th gym. I've replaced my team 3x.
Now, I'm going with a full eeveelution team (Sylveon is actually decent.)

I also have my team fully decked out and ready to fight the Elite Four, having swapped Pidgeot out for Hydregion (I was like "YES!" when I encountered a Zwelious in the Victory Road).
Current party:
- Venusaur - Level 60.
- Delphox - Level 59.
- Lucario - Level 59.
- Ampharos - Level 58.
- Hydregion - Level 64.
- Azumarill - Level 65.
I swear, Azumarill gets used a lot more than it should, thanks to the abundance of Fighting-type trainers who would (and have) murder Delphox with their Rock coverage if they were able to take the Psychic.

If some strange reason I'd get X (or Y, I guess), I'll name my team based on Final Fantasy X characters just for shits and gigs.

I beat the Elite Four. It felt a little underwhelming, as my team was at a close level to them. They managed to defeat only one of my pokemon per fight, including the Champion, while I quickly defeated them with the appropriate pokemon. All round Azumarill and Mega Ampharos were my MVPs; Azumarill for its crazy attack power and resists and Mega Ampharos for its resists and coverage. Lucario and Venusaur barely got used, and wasn't used against the Champion at all. Though I felt satisfied at the end when my Delphox dealt the final blow to the Champion's Mega Gardevoir after eliminating Azumarill, so I guess that is a bonus
.
Final team (arranged in order of usefulness in the E4):
- Azumarill - Level 67
- Ampharos - Level 60
- Hydregion - Level 65
- Delphox - Level 61
- Venusaur - Level 61
- Lucario - Level 59
