There should be a GF that provides a "No Encounters" ability, and it should be available very early in the game. It's essential to a low-level run, and should help about the lack of Chocobo convenience. I forget which one it was, though.

Um...let me think... If I'm right its on Diablos. which I just learned icon_smile.gif.

You know this game is pretty messed up. I already have my characters at max hp on the start of disk 3.
they should've made the junction system a little better. Pretty much my game is going to be pretty easy from here on out icon_razz.gif

Just beat Half-Life 2 for the first time, I must say I am disconcerted to say the least.
No real last boss, No alien worlds, No explanations of what happened. Just left
hanging...

At least I own Lost Coast, and Episodes 1 and 2 so I can see more.

I already beat Half-Life and Half-Life Decay, but I still want to play through
Blue Shift and Opposing Force.

Oh, and I've only just begun Portal 1...

Finally went and played an old NES game called "Little Nemo: The Dream Master." I remember seeing the first few minutes of an LP of a later level by Shoelace, then a month or so ago, I came across Duane and BrandO's rap based on the game. I loved the music, and finally decided to play it. I started it last night, just finished it a few minutes ago. Fun little game, though very hard and frustrating sometimes. However, the soundtrack is very enjoyable for the most part and the conventions and routes created by using the different animals was rather fun. A game I'd recommend, as long as you have a little patience. icon_thumbsup.gif

I love this game so much. My grandmother has the actual cart for it so sometimes when I go over we give it a round. I used to have to rely on a game genie because I was horrible at it. :S But now a days I can actually hold my own. XD Great choice of game. icon_smile.gif

For myself, I've started Link's Awakening again. Beat the third level, so I think I'm doing pretty good for myself. And I've started playing Pushmo, which is also quite a bit of fun. Currently on the fourth set of puzzles, if I recall correctly. Good times. icon_smile.gif

Went ahead and went to disk 4 of Final fantasy 8.
I spent some time in the desert before hand though and got all my GF's their ability's. and then went to the "island closest to hell" and level my party up to the max of 100. And Got the Str stat maxed out on Squall.and right now working on beating Omega... (Having no luck on that)

On another Note:
I've would've beat Ultima Weapon on disk 3 but I couldn't even make in screen 5 (Of the Under ground ruins). the screen with all the Iron giants...<_< They keep on killing me... (So I got tired went to disk 4)

I played through a relatively low-level run of that one when I played it. I know the enemies are scaled up at fixed intervals based on the party's average level. Does leveling up to 100 help any, or are the enemies still a fair fight? I'm just curious if one extreme works just as well as the other, but I'm not patient enough to go through the entire game again.

It helps with the game's main story boss's as far, and as far as I know the boss's don't get the same level as you.
The only thing I've noticed is the enemies on the world map/area's is the same Lv as the party. But for sure the boss's don't level up with you, so yeah Leveling up will help with boss's. But not with normal enemies.

Edit: Damn Internet Hiccup... Sorry

Good, let me know what you think about it ^_^" I think it is an amazing game, even today.

The only thing I dislike about it is how unfair the final boss of the game is. Everything else is just sheer awesome.
