You're banned because I'd give you suggestions, but you've seen everything I'd suggest.

you've seen everything I'd suggest and then some

Fixed. You know, you should watch Code Geass. And Rurouni Kenshin. And Cowboy Bebop. And Samurai Champloo. And pretty much anything by CLAMP.

You're banned because I'm not even done with Twin Peaks and Death Note yet, and you're suggesting more? I can only handle so much! Plus, Death Note was kind of an experiment to see if any other anime besides GL would be interesting, since it sounded good and was really well reviewed. And though it started out well, it's rapidly losing my interest.

You're banned for making me reiterate that the anime adaptation of Death Note is absurdly dull and slow-moving. It's the manga that you need to read. And your future opinion of anime should not hang on a single series. I love anime, but I don't love every series out there. I hate Inuyasha. I hate Dragonball GT. I hate Fruits Basket. I hate Hoshin Engi. I don't think much of Naruto and my previous appreciation for Bleach and One Piece are significantly waning.

If my opinion of anime hinged on any of those, I would absolutely despise anime. But rather than looking at what's popular, I look for the cult classics. I look for stuff by CLAMP, Gainax and Sunrise Studios, because they all do series that are relatively short, and enact a complete story in one or two seasons. And because of this, they have the ending in mind before they even start production. Those complete thoughts, the ones that don't drag on and on, are the ones I love.

Anime is not a genre, it is a niche, and it is so diverse of a niche that to judge it on so little is extremely unfair.

You're banned because maybe it is unfair, but you already know that I dislike most of the art styles uses in anime, which is a serious hindrance for me. Heck, even Gurren Lagann bugged me with that occasionally, the prime example being the faces Simon makes during the rebirth scene. But that was so awesome, I overlooked the faces. But art style's still a major obstacle to overcome, so any anime has to be awesome enough to make me ignore that.

On the subject of Death Note, I actually don't find it very slow moving. Well, maybe a little slow, but it's intense, and it didn't get dull until they killed off the pivotal character.

Great, now you're banned for making ME make long statements too.

You're banned because if you don't like typical anime art styles, but still value awesomeness, you will LOVE Cowboy Bebop.

You're banned because it's not a flaw, per se, it's more of a minor distraction. But I ignored it, because that scene was just too awesome

No, I will, once I'm done with the other stuff I'm watching. I think the episode of Death note I just finished restored my faith in it.

You're banned because I've never noticed before. It's always been so quick. It's like a damn game of king of the hill, the moment you ban someone else, you're unbanned.
