Looks great! My only complaints are the mountains on the left are a little square, and I wouldn't use the broken wood tiles in a field-ish screen.

Does this look better?

Yeah, that's perfect. I wouldn't change it one bit.

If you gave her face a makeover and redid the shading and those eyes the girl might work for what it's worth.

I redid her face. What do you think? The left version has the highlight in the hair, and the right version doesn't.

Highlight in the hair seems fine, redid face looks better. I'd say it works even it's no perfect fit for the tileset. Better than the GB NPCs for sure.

That looks excellent. I'd remove the the blue mushrooms, or change them to red, and I'd stick to one type of water border; LttP or BS. Other than those two minor issues, it's great!

Nothing particularly bad or good about it. It makes for a solid map for any game, but nothing too special. The one thing I would change is the land(?) bordering the water. It looks pretty strange. I'd just have the mountain border the water, and get rid of that grassy border.

I'd still remove that grass border.

Then you should at least replace it with a brown/dirt border. The grass looks strange.
