But back on topic, I'm gonna have to try out the musicals before I decide whether or not I like them.

With all the new changes and features I'm starting to fear a possible R/S remake, just because I think it would be nothing like the original....
The less like the original it is, the better. R/S were a low point for the series. A necessary transition maybe, but overall a pretty bad game. Where as G/S brought really cool new pokemon and features (night/day, returning to Kanto, new moves, time, new types, plot that was pretty cool, etc.) Ruby and Sapphire were boring, full of stupid pokemon, etc. Around the time you fight your father, I had lost all interest in my quest. It was just boring... and that feeling hit again in the tree village, and yet again when you fight the twin gym leaders.
If they remake them, I can only hope they take a good hard look at what's worked and what hasn't.

Personally, I like that deer that changes based on the season the game is in. That's pretty awesome. Also, I read that Black and White will only have Pokemon in it exclusive to the Isshu region, and none from Generations I-IV, making it similar to Red and Blue...well, until you get the National Dex, apparently.

I just looked at the Serebii update and came across a new Pokemon named Emonga. I think he might be the evolved form of Pachirisu.
Honestly, I doubt it, as referring to the content of my previous post, plus their art styles are way too different.

There's no evolve forms from older Pokemon in this game. Remember, this game features fresh never before seen Pokemon until you beat the game and eventually obtain the National Dex.

Apparently, the new squirrel is actually a little smaller than Pachirisu. So it's probably not an evo.
The deer's gimmick is interesting, but hopefully it doesn't end up being one of those 'mons that has a gimmick but ends up sucking from a lack of stats.

So... it appears that TMs won't disappear after being used anymore. I figure this is the most immediately enticing thing that's been revealed about these games over the past few days.
That is fantastic. They are really changing up things in this game. Now I'm just praying HMs are instead items this time around.
