Four key location for boss key in dungeon 4.

1 whistle area near the entrance = whistle point 2, 3, and 4 have keys and the fourth key in the ladder puzzle area west of the whistle point 3 on the downstairs whistle switch area.  The cut scenes help since it is a lot of flipping switches to open the paths to the keys and the boss key and you also have the spacebar map on the downstairs area and tends to help out a lot of people navigate the maze.

Is there any way to get the silver arrow other than that god-aweful mini game behind the tower? 30 arrows is not enough to make it through and I'm going crazy.

It's the only way. I've gone through it a few times. It's doable, just a tad annoying. Focus on the windrobes. You don't have a time limit, so line up your shots, and watch where you're walking.

Having trouble getting second wand upgrade.  Have 1 key, and thought I had to use conveyor from posts I read, but keep falling down to ice level.  Got to room with 3 holes, but can only access it from the bottom and can't hookshot to lamps, because I keep falling to conveyor and that drops me to ice. What am I missing?

Did you find a room with three holes and conveyor belt heading into the three holes w/ fire robes?

That room leads to the next wand upgrade.

NOTE: dungeon 7 has a lot of fall down paths that will is required for progression if you look at the pit it will look off versus the normal pits you have seen through out the game.

Yes, but I can only get there from the bottom and not the left and I fall in pit and then again.

there are four ways up from the ice lake into the main facility.

One is the starting area,

there are two ways just southeast/souhwest of the starting area with ice block puzzles to progress into the other areas of the dungeon,

and the last is just north of the starting area and that will lead you up into another area of the dungeon which has two warps that lead to different areas.

I used the SE and SW areas, but had already tried everything in starting but nothing worked and I believe for North I need mirror shield which I don't have. Is that what I'm missing? I thought I got that in Level 7.

NVM...Just got mirror shield...My bad.  Will try to move on.

Thanks Flying Fish

Howdy y'all. Made a lot of progress since asking about the Whack-a-Leever game. I'm through Level 6 with a lot of upgrades, and have the Purple Armor. From what I've read, I'm looking at the following before heading to Level 7:

1) "????", with Waterfall, Mt. Juno, and 2x Blue Bush entrances found, but I have no idea what to do from there. Every screen I attempt to pass has spikes and I can't go anywhere. Am I missing an item?

2) I found the Secret Entrance for the Unknown Tomb, but I'm absolutely stumped. I got as far as the room that has the immediate chasm, and then I turned from accomplished to  . Help?

ALSO, I think I found a bug. In Tower Level 6. If you walk into the room with the dual Patras with Link facing East charging up the Spin Technique, the locked door on the left would open. I re-created it a few times. I was able to get the Magical Armor and then double-back to kill the bigger of the two.

Thanks. Really enjoying this game thus far.

For the unknown tomb both the silver arrows and the lvl gauntlet are required to gain access.

Interesting bug in the Patra room I will have to look into it.

The ???? dungeon also requires the silver arrows, the hammer, and I would recommend the level 3 sword.  This dungeon can be completed after the tower lvl5 and is not an requirement for beating the game but does give you a really nice toy if you can complete it.

FF:

I have all of those items. I've beaten through Dungeon 6 [Swamp] and Tower Level 6. I don't have the Level 3 Sword, that's what I'm working on. I thought it was in the tomb that's next to Level 2? Can't figure out what to do in both ???? and the Unknown Tomb.

Thanks,

Since you found the hidden entrance to the hidden tomb there is a switch that opens a path in the main entrance where that statue was blocking the door.

For the ???? dungeon it is exploration dungeon with a lot of trick and false leads but there is a guy in the main town that helps decipher  one of the dungeons biggest secret.
