They have 4 months left before the first release. Regardless of whether or not that's enough time to add more characters, they could still be keeping some secret to slowly trickle out to keep the hype up. No reason to think that E3 is the last character unveil. That's my theory.

That's good. Hopefully they have stuff in store for us and release some new characters. Honestly I'd also like to see either Ness or Lucas!

Heh ya I liked that too. Overall Pac-Man seems like an interesting player. His moves also look interesting.

I personally dig Pac-Man. I really like characters that are way outside the norm, so I'll likely play as him a lot. Cool stuff!

I honestly wonder who didn't expect this the moment it was announced that Namco was helping with development. Also, I doubt they'd announce every character in the game before it's release, so don't worry too much about the whole "33 character" thing.

Speaking of Ness and Lucas, I remember Nintendo not revealing the return of Ness and Marth until the day before release. I'm loving the new characters released. Part of me wants to say I called the Miis and Pac-Man. They all look like they are very unique in game play in comparison to the rest of the cast. The only thing I truly want now, is for the original 12 to make the cut. I'm talking about you Captain Falcon, Ness, and Jigglypuff.

 

On another note, I regular watch this guys stuff. I find his theory about Bayonetta possibly being a character in Smash very interesting. She would make a very interesting character, however, she is a very adult themed character and she really doesn't feel all that Nintendo at all. What are your thoughts?

Well guys, I'm going to Best Buy tomorrow (today). I will give my hands-on impressions from a competitive perspective of the current demo once I come home. Two of the main characters I will be focusing on are Marth and Link since they are my mains, but I will be trying out ALL of the characters to see how they play and to break down what was nerfed, what is/isn't OP, and the effectiveness of each character in my own experience playing them. (Within the allotted time of course)

One of the more trustworthy leakers, the same one who predicted Wii Fit Trainer, Pac Man, and a bunch of other newcomers, recently predicted Lucas getting cut.

 

I'm still holding out hope, but it gets harder every day.
