I am starting my breeding now.

Just beat gym 4 with my Poke's in the 40's range.  I'm not even trying to grind.  This has to be one of the easiest Pokemon games to date.

Elite 4 took no though at all, heck my heracross did most of the work.

And with a lousy endgame, I feel like I might just go back to Shin Megami Tensei 4 to finish my second playthough...

 

At least playing online will be fun.  Still haven't tried an online battle (wanna get my team to level 100's and beat it first (not in that order.))

Alright, I got the eighth badge, and found where the Dittos are. I caught a couple to give out (one to save for myself), currently I have two extra if anyone wants one for breeding or anything, and I'd be willing to catch more. But yeah, eight gyms, almost ready for the league. Team levels:

 

Pichu (Bree) - Level 59

Delphox - Level 69

Pancham - Level 67

Florges - Level 65

Blastoise - Level 65

Pidgeot - Level 64

Bree?  Sounds like a ghetto nickname for a girl named Brianna xD.   I think you might actually be a bit overleveled for the League, but it's no surprise; I've heard how broken EXP Share is this time around.

Well I've heard the facility this time around isn't quite like the Battle Frontier.  Do you gain EXP within it, or is it all still a BP ordeal?

Well, main game beaten. I heard there isn't much to do in the post-game, so we'll see, I suppose. As for that Elite Four...

Practically walked right through it. The only thing that gave me any sort of trouble was the water trainer's Gyarados. I didn't have anything super effective (I wasn't going to throw Bree in there, she'd get wrecked quickly) and the damn thing kept spamming Dragon Dance, so it took me three tries until I managed to beat it using two of my Pokemon. But I was fairly overleveled, but then I always make sure I'm a couple levels ahead of the Elite Four for my own benefit.

 

Here's my team after I beat them:

Pancham - Level 73

Pidgeot - Level 71

Blastoise - Level 72

Florges - Level 72

 

Now I know of one section to check out first... let's see what's inside.

I just got to Dendemille Town. Boxed my level 50 Sneasel until my brother gets me a Razor Claw, since I can't get it yet.

Still having a ton of fun with this but it sure seemed to accelerate really quickly after the first couple of gyms. I'm also not sure I like how many TMs and such it feels like the game just throws at me. I dunno.

Just captured Xeneras and defeated Team Flare. Just wow, that got depressing. Just pretty much proved my point that X/Y is continuing what Black/White begun last generation, just without seasons or more pokemon (both of which I would have liked to see). I also liked the reintroduction of berry growing (ingame, not online) and how expansive Kalos is. I am not sure wherever to put this above Diamond/Pearl or not.
One big complaint I have with this game is how Lumiose City was handled. Aside from the game-breaking save glitch, I hated how you can't move while you are changing the camera angle as you come out of the buildings there, which really breaks the immersion. My second major complaint with it is how easy it is to get lost thanks to the wonky camera angle, which was more 3rd-person instead of top-down like in other towns. For the first two times going to Lysandre Cafe, I had to hire an expensive taxi just to find it. It felt that confusing. This is my least favourite town/city in all of Pokemon. This is where I felt Gamefreak really drop the ball. Fortunately, the rest of the game makes up for this as X/Y still gets a solid 8/10 from me.

With that out of the way, my team update:

• Delphox - Level 52.
• Lucario - Level 52.
• Azumarill - Level 54.
• Vensaur - Level 47.
• Pidgeot - Level 46. Going to be replaced for Hydregion or Dragonite/Salamence when I get then.
• Raichu - Level 46. I just realized how horrible it's defenses are. It got OHKOed by Team Flare twice with neutral attacks. I am definetly going to replace it with Ampharos before I take on the Elite Four.
