When you put it that way, it seems easy.

yes, stone = good, no flower spikey stuff coming out of there.
Grass = bad, flower spikey stuff coming out of there. icon_wink.gif
But to put it in more simpler terms, there is a nice safe area in all three phases of boss 3 in the lower middle right part of the arena.

The first key is right next to the entrance. icon_wink.gif But you cannot reach it from the entrance, you have to go west a bit and solve a puzzle.

Went looking for the sword and went all the way up to the Canyon and can't get in. Need the ladder one way as far as I can tell. The other way has a tree in my way ,,tried everything. Haven't quite finished LV2, so maybe the ladder is in 2......just thought I'd leave and roam around a while looking for whatever I could could get my little Link hands on. So I guess I need the ladder to get the sword
NEVERMIND

I got it, I found it, and it was so easy. Found the sword. Oh My!!

EDIT EDIT :::::: By the way, what gets rid of that tree in the way up here in the canyon?? Must have to come back later

And when can I get a good shield. I've been through 3 and can't find anymore????
So many ?'s When can I get the blue suit???

Granny, you can have the Blue Suit after you get the Power Rod... and I assume you have the Power Rod from Lv2 already. The Blue Suit dungeon is far north... at the Horgrus Summit.

To burn those dried tree stumps that block your way you need a Candle. The Candle can be found from the northeast corner of Dasa Woods. icon_wink.gif

And what comes to shields, there are 6 of those red shields hidden on the island. And then there's the fantastic Mirror Shield in caves deep under the Tahou Woods but you need the item from Lv4 to get the Mirror Shield so it's not time for that yet.

Thanks Peteo,,, It wasn't a dried tree stump though. It was a tree in the way on the mid north west corner of the Canyon. I was up that way looking for the sword and seen it. I have the boomer and the candle, but didn't try the candle on it. Will go back later.
Will go back to Horgrus Summit and look somemore, really need the blue suit. Green is just not my color...I am getting mauled.
Don't tell me the blue shield is by where I got the boomer.? DOH! head back that way to

That ridiculously hard puzzle? I'd rather try singing along to Paula Deanda's Walk Away (which I'm bad at singing and I love her). Anyone that thinks it's easy is weird.

SoStaci, I admit it is one of the toughest puzzles in the quest, but there is a solution for it. But if you just can't solve it then I can make a screenshot of how to solve it... or maybe even a video... hmm... icon_wink.gif

Granny, the Blue Tunic is not far away from where you got the Boomerang, but you have to take a different route to get there than when you went to get the boomerang. The Blue Tunic Temple is in the northwest part of the Horgrus area.

Don't make the video just yet. I'm gonna keep trying the puzzle. It's like the old saying, 'Don't give up unless you're very frustrated.' Then again, if I can handle Armageddon Quest, I should be able to figure this out.

How do I hurt the doom-inspired head at the end of the catacombs?
