I know it's kind of crappy, it was better, but somewhere between saving it and uploading it to YouTube, the audio and video became off. Even before it got screwed up, it was still kinda bad.

Yes, yes I did.

I actually never do think of stuff being made by the person itself, I think that it could just be based off of something else other than those things... (And I really need to stop posting here every single time, but I am so obsessed with ponies..)

Also, currently working on writing a parody of "A Little Piece of Heaven" called "A Little Piece of Rainbow". I'm sure you can guess the subject matter.

Here, have a line from the song:

I thought of that line out of nowhere one day, and now I'm parodying the entire song Cupcakes style.

You have just driven me to post in this thread. First off, the new category in your sig cracked me up. But onto the point. I was going to watch it, but TS beat me to it. And at one point while watching, he asked me to shoot him. This doesn't exactly make me want to watch the show.

And now for me to contribute something somewhat more on topic to this thread... Um... oh gosh... uh... horses are bigger and would make better characters? I have no idea...

Lauren Faust (a writer for the Powerpuff Girls and the co-creator of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends) recently debuted a new "My Little Pony" series called "Friendship is Magic" that basically acts as a middle finger towards the old, crappy My Little Pony shows. The new series is still basically a kid's show, but it's extremely well written, the animation is fantastic, and overall, its extremely entertaining. People began to take notice of it when CartoonBrew wrote an article which baselessly criticized the new series, claiming it to be "the end of the creator-driven era" (which is completely backwards, since this new MLP series is almost 100% creator driven). That piqued the interest of the /co/ boards on 4chan, which would eventually became infested with pony-related material. The trend eventually leaked into other corners of the internet, spawning such sites as EquestriaDaily and FiMFiction.

Back to the point...

Lauren Faust basically wanted to make a My Little Pony series that 1) wouldn't be just an animated infomercial, 2) you could tell the writers actually gave a damn about, and 3) would be entertaining to adults as well as children.

I don't know what else I can say. When getting into the new show the thought process goes something like this:

A friend of yours: So, you should watch that new My Little Pony series.
Your reaction: Pfft, ahahaha! Yeah, no.
Friend: No seriously. It's surprisingly good.
You: Well, okay, I'll check out the first episode, but I'm still extremely doubtful...
*you watch the first episode*
You: Okay, that wasn't too mind numbing, I'll watch episode 2 just to see how this storyline concludes...
*you watch the second episode*
You: Okay, that was kind of awesome.
*you watch up through episode seven*
You: [speechless and in tears]

And it basically continues until you finish the first season. The plot thickens, and continues to mesmerize you until you, like everyone else, are obsessed on ponies.

And that's basically why everyone is obsessed.

This hasn't failed yet, and I plan on it going undefeated. The ultimate test: GETTING RUSS TO TRY IT!
