As ShadowTiger explained quite well LTTP, it was much more than a tiny mistake.  You also need to listen when people, especially the host, tell you not to do certain things.  If I let you back, we run the risk of you doing the same thing again, and thus disrupting the gameplay experience for others again.  While I do believe that you are sorry, I'm not sure if you completely understand what you did wrong.  Otherwise, you wouldn't be referring to it as a "tiny" mistake.  If you can prove that you fully understand why you were banned, then I might consider letting you rejoin us.  I need to be confident that history isn't going to repeat itself.

As for coolgamer's questions:

Steam is a place where you can purchase games and download them without the need to travel to a store (in the traditional sense), play them, communicate with other players, etc.  It's really a whole lot of things in one.  To play the PC version of Terraria, you do need steam.  Steam itself is free to download.  Just go here, and click install steam.  Prices for games vary, depending on what the game is currently being sold for, for example, although there are a few free games that exist on Steam as well.  $10 is the most Terraria has ever sold for (and usually sells for this price).  Steam has its own online store where you can purchase a game, provided you have a credit card available for such a purpose.  As for other forms of payment available, I don't have an answer to that.  Once you purchase a game on your account, you are able to download it as often as you want.  It's pretty easy once you have downloaded steam and see where the store is.

So why risk it, when you have the handy dandy wiki! :D Seriously bookmark that page. I use it daily. Extremely useful, in a game so large.

That's okay, as long as everyone realizes that a public server where everyone plays fairly isn't a playground to test stuff out. I've made my mistakes in the past, and I'm sure everyone else has made their own. Generally, a good mind-set is to think of others before we think of ourselves. It's hard to fail or disappoint that way. Friendship is magic, yo.

I have taken you off the ban list, LTTP.  So you have a chance to redeem yourself the next time you join the game.

I have completed a series of teleporters for easy travel to the underworld and much of the surface.  There is a central teleporter hub where all the NPCs are.

Down direction:  A series of two teleporters: One about halfway down where there are glowing mushrooms, followed by another in the underworld.

Left direction:  Three teleporters:  One in a corruption, another in a hallowed area, and another at the dungeon entrance.

Right direction:  Three teleporters:  One in a corruption, another at the near end of the jungle, and another closer to the far end of it (both within the jungle, which is quite wide)

Not sure if I will do more that go to the oceans.  That is something to consider, which would take about another teleporter length in each direction.  It was quite the challenge with all the battle interruptions.  Probably easier as a two person job, where one lays down the wires, while another kills enemies that get near.

Please ask specifically for me next time you embark on a project like thate, Nate. Seriously just call me over. I have very little to do, and that's exactly the sort of thing I would love to do with my gatling sandwich. Gatling anything, really. If it gattles, I'm in.

Sure thing, if you wish to extend to the ocean, or extend downward from other locations.  I have the system set up as follows:

- Each teleporter on the surface going horizontal alternates between blue and green wires, so to allow for more usage of each teleporter.

- A route downward from a surface teleporter will use red wire.  It can use a different color after that, if you wish to take it yet further down.

- Switches are placed in a way that indicate which direction the teleporter takes you.

I do still plan on playing tomorrow, if anybody is around and willing.

If you need an artificial crimson biome I did manage to finally get a decent supply of red solution. (I have a ton of blue, dark blue, green, and purple solution as well, but that doesn't seem to be in demand too much.)

Gonna play again this afternoon, but for a shorter amount of time, as I will be doing other things this evening.  Probably 2 to 6 pm EST, ending no later than 6.

Redigit also has plans for a Christmas update, so whenever that happens, we will probably be starting a new map (assuming it's worth it to do so).

I doubt it will be.  So far, the things that have been revealed are upside down slopes, a new music track, and his/cenx's request for christmas enemy ideas.  None of that interferes with World Generation, except Upside Down Slopes, which really wouldn't change the exploration factor.

I wonder, am I the only person not all that terrified by the Crimson? It just reminds me more of Lifeforce really.

I'm not terrified by the Crimson either.  It's not nearly as difficult to die from falling.  The enemies prehardmode on average only seem slightly more difficult, if at all.  The Crimson Hearts are typically easier to get to than the Shadow Orbs (less crimstone to destroy than ebonstone), unless you struggle to deal with the spiders in the open chamber.  Brain of Cthulhu is only slightly more difficult than Eater of Worlds with good strategies.  Although Brain of Cthulhu is much harder when you lack any good strategy, since Eater of Worlds you can just spam a melee weapon with if your defense isn't too low.  I think Redigit wanted something that was overall the same difficulty, but each having different aspects that are slightly more difficult than the other.

I personally find BoC more of a threat than EoW. For one, it can teleport ANYWHERE, even in theory right on top of you, making dodging it after you kill the Creepers difficult depending on where it appears. Getting a decent weapon early on to counter it can be difficult, although I suppose if you're skilled enough and have an arena you can get by with Shurikens. As for EoW, with a good enough arena, you can easily pick it off at 100 Life 0 Defense with Shurikens and Grenades.

I will agree though about the Crimson being safer than the Corruption. Corruptors are annoying because they can spread the Corruption with their spit (not to mention it can cripple you pretty badly if it manages to inflict Weak on you) and World Feeders will eat a newcomer to Hardmode alive. The Crimson on the other hand is much safer. The worst you really have are Herplings because of their agility and Ichor Stickers. Floaty Gross isn't too bad and Crimslimes are easily dealt with. One of the worst places IMO in Hardmode is the jungle, thanks to all of those annoying tortoises. Walling yourself in underground doesn't work, because Mad Trappers can easily reach you from just about anywhere. And they hit insanely hard too.

Brain of Cthulhu is absolutely nothing when you go to the Dungeon early, and get yourself a Water Bolt.  It utterly destroys it.  You can easily get a Water Bolt without triggering the Dungeon Guardian.
