Is there a key on floor 4 or the bottom floor of level 3? Because I am missing one to open the ladder chest. (Finding that out was really annoying after the boomerang challenge.)

I think someone needs to create a guide for this quest. I've been playing it so much I haven't done very much work on my own quest.

Fire Wizz, there are no keys on F4, and only 1 key on F3 that you can reach without the Ladder. Hopefully you find your missing key soon enough. I would take a wild guess that the key you are missing is on F1... the one key that is behibd that door you need to open with the Royal Melody. Some people seem to miss that one.


randy: Well yeah, someone could probably make a good guide by making a compilation of this thread. What am I doing? Well I am too tired to do anything ZC related for a while...

One thing that bothers me is that you replaced Ruppes with Arrows.

Now, this is fine if you didn't have any shops. But you do. So it's just a little jarring and weird.

A minor gripe, =p

Well, Wolfie and I just thought that since evryone's pretty much dead on the island and there aren't that many shops, there's really no reason to have money in the quest. i mean, what do the monsters do with money? Arrows are much better to have in such a hostile environment.

I'm about to rip out my hair because of that boomerang challenge. It's the least fun thing in the quest, no offense.

You have to shoot the grey floating orbs with magic when they turn to these smileys, Granny.

Oh and the Boomerang is at the Horgrus Summit area, but you probably took the wrong exit from the cave. There's one unlit candle in one of the Volcano's caves. Lit it to lower some spikes and go north to a screen with a huge evil dragon. Kill the dragon and proceed.

I lit the candle, went one screen left, past the spikes, then north to the second cave exit. But I come out at a snowing area north and I can't get through, there's something in the way , and I've tried everything
I haven't seen any dragon.


Nevermind, I'm sorry I just found the dragon.. Question.......Is there anywhere to buy medicine?


Got the boomer finally. Did lose a second shield though, but I know where another is.
Now to go find the sword. Isn't that in a Volcano area.????

Yes there is. One is to be located in the swamp area, and requires the boomerang and ladder. The other is located in the forest, and requires the power rod and it's upgrade component.

Both are highly expensive shops, however, so, I hope you've been saving your arrows.

In that Svelard Temple (whatever it is), how do I get the key? I found the big chest and the boss door but no such luck.

Granny: You should get the better sword now. It is in the northern part of Glathriel Canyon, west of Lv3.

SoStaci: When the Dragon stops after his attack and has a question mark over his head, burn him!

Yay! I finally got the ladder!

So.. I got three keys afterwards and I don't know where to go with them.

are yu on levle 3? then go to the b1 floors with your 3 keys.
