The Devil from the NES game Devil World (never released in US) is in the game. He makes the screen scroll in the direction he is pointing.

This looks like a weird assist trophy. I think it'll not be the most useful of assist trophies, especially if you're plying a heavy character

I'll bet all you have to do is do either two well timed jumps, or your two jumps and your Up+B and you're fine. Though, you can obviously use this to knock other players off of the scrolling screen while you're trying to get back on yourself. I'll bet lots of players will edge guard doing this. ALTHOUGH, it's entirely possible that it'll scroll off more than once. We don't know that it will or will not yet.

Heh. I can just imagine Final Destination and this guy appears and knocks the stage downward. I personally would like to see this guy in action, as well, so I can see how paNick the characters will get when he appears.

I'm interested. This could add a new twist on the game, and make you even more careful when deciding whether or not to use Assist Trophies.

Jigglypuff is not crap. I've beat Event Match 51 with Jigglypuff (the one where you fight Ganondorf, Giga Bowser, and Mewtwo on a team) and I know that several good players forward Jigglypuff.

Anyway, the Pokemon Trainer was kind of meh to me. I was hoping for less Pokemon as fighters this time around, but I guess we can't get everything. The Devil looks REALLY cool though... imagine how the head jump is going to be used with this one?

To be honest, I think they also look crappier than trophies. I don't see the point of them. Why not just make the trophies easier to collect?
