Golem and Sewer Rat enemies:

Ohhh! The pose of the golem is very dynamic, but I think it could use a heavier core. The rats look alright...A little too realistic for a 16x16 sprite, but still manages to be clear.

I love me a good sky dungeon. I don't really see anything wrong with it. Excellently designed~

I don't think it's a good idea to have opaque clouds covering the ladder in the upper left corner - especially since it appears to cover the border between screens. It's not a huge problem since you can still tell that that's the way to go, but it's best not to obstruct the way forward unless you're purposely trying to hide it.Open to constructive criticism.

Well, here is my first attempt at using layering to make an area look more appealing to the eye. Probably sucks, but whatever.

@Noel: Climbing through a layer of cloud helps to show the change in elevation. The part where the player is concealed is just climbing straight up anyway.

I like those statues! My only recommendation is to do something more with the upper-right part of the screen.

Yessir. The GB beach graphics are sons of beaches - they are so limited. I need to get to work on that.

Oracle of Ages intended to be pollution from the construction of the tower (or maybe Veran's doing). For me, it serves to block the players from going off map and into solid objects without making the ocean feel too closed in. ![]()
If you saw anything better to use -- suggest! ![]()
