Remember that giant temple entrance? Yeah:
Edited Shot:

Basically, this is a part-intro-part-final dungeon. The first visit is a simple climb up; the side doors present on most floors are locked and the blocks in the middle are deactivated so you can climb up fast and without having to do anything tedious. The second (and final) visit is when the dungeon begins to turn into a final dungeon; the blocks are activated and the doors on the sides open forcing you to go through a series of trials on each floor.

Charizard: What a neat concept! I like the idea of revisiting the dungeon under different conditions. I also like your approach to screen design. They look unique and visually interesting without being too cluttered or complex. The simplicity fits the GB style perfectly.

The entrance to the grim tower, where Her Grace slumbers as she continues the cycle of death and rebirth. This is also the place where I announce there will be two shortcut portals in each dungeon that function like in The Minish Cap!
EDIT: If you saw the older version of this screen elsewhere on the forum before this, yay you for following me.

That looks awesome and the shortcut portal idea is very clever, nostalgia of Minish Cap!

Those upper wall regions...it throw off the screen. Dunno, just the contrast is a bit off

This is my first quest so I've been experimenting with NES and DoR tylesets. This is one I made with DoR with cloud and sky modifications. I'm thinking this would be my character's house and may or may not be the starting screen. I'm struggling with these particular clouds so they are a work in progress.
