I built walls like Trump for my 5th dungeon. I also planned out ideas for entering just about every dungeon. This is going to be my best quest.

I worked on the third stage of the main village (it goes through 4 phases with some changes on the map every time)

Sounds intressting.
I like it, when villages ain't "static".
Changes and diversified events is what give's a quest more realism.

In Little Hero, I use diverse systems.
I have a 24h (12 min) day-/night time loop.
Screen events change, depending on the day-night time.
(an inplay-time clock is available in the active subscreen)
...but the entire game progress also affects on the map events and the DMap settings.

It must take a lot of scripting to change a village midway through the quest or to manage an effective day-night cycle!

I finished all the functions for my HeroSwitch (multichar) header.
(written for 5 chars max... but extendable by simply copying lines)
It includes recruitable NPCs, (non-linear recruiting? No problem
)
These scripted FFCs will initiate the characters starting -HP/-max. HP, -MP/ - max MP.
(oh yeah,and of course they can be solid, create Overhead effects, look at the player, when he's close enough
and remove themself from th screen after initiating the new character.
...and they work fine for 16x16 and extnd. 16x32 heros.)
...the character's starting inventory is globally preinitiated.
Once recruited (a) companion(s), you get an Icon in your active Subscreen, and his HP/max HP is displayed below.
Now you can cycle up/down through all valid chars, by pressing Ex4 = UP/Ex3 = DOWN.
Counters, Health and Magic and collected individual inventory will always be saved and restored.
When the player takes lethal damage, it cycles automaticly to the next valid (and living) team member.
...if no other char is valid or all are dead, you will DIE!!! ![]()
If you use it for just 2 chars, it's easily combinable with the companion follower(2nd char) function of my Doctor Who script.
I you want to see this script in action, you'll have to wait a little.
It's exclusively written for Shoshon the Elegant and will first be used in one of his upcomming quests.
