I have to know - was there a reason those level 6 wallmasters have to send you all the way back to the beginning of the level?  Did you just want me to have to walk the perimeter of the level 25 times because that would be fun?  I've never done so much backtracking in a Zelda game as I have in this one.  Extremely frustrated.

To easily deal with those wall master use the hookshot and hug the inside walls they will not spawn as much. they will only spawn on the vertical paths if you hug inside walls.

No, I know.  I was trying to use the hookshot.  I still failed about 25 times.

My simple suggestion here would be to put a trigger switch next to the waterfall so that once a player makes it all the way around once, they'll have a shortcut open from the level start screen to get back there, rather than having to waste all that time walking the long way around over and over.

OK - While I'm here, I might as well ask my other question.  I'm back in the Tower, doing floor 6.  I *think* I did the block puzzle right, because I heard the little chime play when I pushed the last block into place.  However, I still can't advance to the stairway to level 7.  What am I missing?

thanks!

Part of the charm of wallmasters is that they are so VERY frustrating. If we gave you a quick walk back, they wouldn't be so frustrating. ^_^

In all honesty, we never figured someone would take 25 tries to beat them. It's a fairly simple gimmick. Time it right so you either stun them or they pass through you and it becomes easy. In testing, they caught me once, I got a laugh out of it, and then I went past them.

Ha... I guess we have a different definition of "charm" then!

Oh, also - please disregard my question about tower level 6.  Got it.

If by "outside" you mean the ice area, it's required that you go to all of the doors in the ice area in order to complete the wand.

Oh lord, I don't remember now. Could you pls give me a hint where I would've found it and how? This game is almost too complex for an old person like me, but I'll keep trying to solve complex puzzles like these to try to stave-off dementia for a while.

Basement, at the top. The compass was sitting there, able to be easily grabbed. However, there is also a closed chest. You need a bridge across.
